You entered the mess hall in search of two of your best friends. Wolffe and Ahsoka had told you they'd be in here planning something. You spotted Ahsoka's montrals and made your way over to her. You sat down with your lunch and both of them acknowledged your presence.

"Hey guys what are you two planning right now?" You asked the pair, and they smiled at eachother mischievously.

"We were thinking about planning something for Father's Day for Master Plo." Your eyes widened in surprise having never heard of this news.

"The General has kids?" You asked incredulously and the two laughed.

"No we're his kids!" Wolffe said to you, and you couldn't help but laugh too. His tone was serious, but laughter was imminent on your part. "He treats us like his kids so we want to do something nice for him." You shook your head at their reasoning. You finished you lunch and looked at the time.

"Well as much as I'd love to stick around and watch the two of you plan this out... I have three starfighters and a certain gunship to fix." You got up from the table and went back to work.

Over the next few days you noticed Plo using a new variety of things.

"General is that a new mug?" You asked him as you stared at the white mug that said 'Best Dad in the Grand Army' on the front of it.

"Oh yes. It was a gift from Commander Wolffe. Said it was for Father's day, but I'm not his Father." He stated in a confused manner and you nodded and went back to work.

The next day you saw him sporting a new pair of boots.

"Are those new boots General?" Plo stopped walking at your question.

"Yes Ahsoka also bought these for me for Father's day, but once again I am not her father. I do not understand why they are doing these things for me." He continued walking on.

The next day took the cake when you were fixing his star fighter, and he stood next to the attachment you were putting in.

"Which on of them is this from?" You stood up and wiped the sweat from your forehead.

"Actually it's from me. It's a back up hyperdrivs for if your hyperdrive ring gets blown up." He rubbed his forehead. "I'm putting this in for you because your missions have a tendency to go south. Plus you pulled me out of a pretty bad place, and got me a job here so... Happy Father's Day, General Plo Koon!" You went back to installing the new part.

"I do not understand. I am not your Father so why is everyone treating me like I am?" He sounded overwhelmed.

"Well we all feel like you are a Father figure to us. Wolffe came out of a test tube, and you are the closest thing to a father he's ever gotten to experience. Ahsoka doesn't remember her family, because she came to the temple early in life. And me? Well I just... I never had a Father. Mine walked out on me when I was only 6, and I had to find a way to help my mother scrape by. When you found me I fixing speeders for 200 credits a week. Doing some really illegal side jobs just to beable to afford a place to live. You pulled me from that rat hole, and gave me a home. Gave me a purpose. You became the father I never got to have, and the same goes for the other two. Yesterday was a day of appreciation that children show to their parental figures. You are mine, Ahsoka's, and Wolffe's. Just accept the gratitude General. It's the only day of the year that you'll have to endure it." He placed his hand on your shoulder and wiped a tear off your cheek.

"I do treat you and Ahsoka and my battalion like my children don't I?" He chuckled softly as he spoke, and you nodded. He gave you a short hug, and let you go. "Thank you, (Y/n)."

It's short I know, but the idea just popped in my head.
