               Narrator POV
"It's just a scratch General. Nothing to worry about." She said for probably the hundredth time. He was growing so tired of her downplaying her injuries.
"That looks like a blaster wound in your shoulder, (Y/n). Pardon me for thinking that is something to worry about." Obi-Wan said as he kept deflecting blaster bolts. She stayed behind him and continued on using her good arm. Her left was out of commission. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were trying to impress me, Commander." After killing the last Droid he turned to her to observe her wound.
"General I promise its just a scr-" He cut her off with a slight glare.
"If you say it's just a scratch-"
"Then you'll what Obi-Wan? What are you going to do? I only say that so that you don't worry about me. I am NOT a vital part of this war effort General you are. If something were to happen to you out here I wouldn't be able to live with myself because I love you! I love your presence. I love the fact that you care about others more than a Jedi should. I love the fact that you see these boys as living human beings and not just clones!" When she finished her rant what she just said finally hit her like an inner planetary transport. She quickly clapped her hand over her mouth glad that noone else was out here to hear them. Also being mortified that she just absolutely confessed her deepest darkest secret to her GENERAL of all people. "Uh I'm sorry General we should probably head to the rendezvous. We have a lot of ground to make up since we encountered those clankers. Luckily I threw a few bacta infusers in my bag, but we can't just med up in the middle of a battlefield." She started heading in the direction of the rendezvous in hopes of finding a nice covered area to heal up.
It took Obi-Wan a few minutes to catch up with everything that just happened. When he finally came to he took off in the direction of her footsteps. He usually would've followed the Jedi code so strictly that it would've made him numb. He had to admit though that he had developed a very affectionate feeling towards the GAR combat specialist. He hadn't felt like this even when he was with Duchess Satine. He realized slightly too late that he had been standing there too long for (Y/n) to feel comfortable about anything. He found her still mumbling to herself as she was pulling her bag from her back to get the medication.
"Well you've done it now (Y/n) now he's gonna send you to a different squadron. Force I hope its not the 501st. Skywalker can be such a handful and sometimes it just is NOT helpful at all. Stupid, stupid, stupid girl. So naive. Ugh listen to me sounding like my mother." She became frustrated with the bag on her back. So she just threw herself down on the ground sitting cross legged on a rock.
Obi-Wan put a hand on her uninjured shoulder and brought her up to face him. "I'm in love with you too." He pulled her into a passionate kiss and she deepend it by putting her arm around his neck.
"I can't believe this is happening. This is happening right? I'm not just dreaming this absurd scene am I?" She looked into his eyes.
"Dream that you get shot often?" Obi-Wan jested.
"Well... I have once or twice but those were just replays from my previous scratches." He let out a laugh from her joke then slipped the bag off of her back, and pulling the medication from it.
"You know for a combat specialist you get alot of 'scratches'." He chuckled lightly.
"You know for a Jedi you sure do show love without a problem." She smiled up at him. "I love that too." Shs then leaned up a bit and placed a light kiss on his cheek. "I am so very honestly ready to be back on the Negotiator." She sighed heavily as she waited for the bacta to kick in.
"You know I am also known as the Negotiator." He looked suggestively at her to which she replied with a hearty laugh.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi. We haven't even had time to discuss what is going on between us, and you're being... Sexually suggestive with me?" He smiled at her.
"Can't help it its a part of me." She laughed again and made to stand up.
"We need to get out of here. Come on General~." She turned in the direction to the rendezvous point with Anakin again and started walking. They walked for maybe another hour or two until they reached the meet. Commander Cody was the first to notice their presence and stood at attention causing the rest of the men nearby to stand at attention as well.
   "General Kenobi sir." He saluted.
"Commander I trust you got here without complication?" The Commander nodded and took notice of (Y/n) beside the General.
"I take it you did not?" With slight amusement present he looked back to Obi-Wan.
"Oh come on Cody its just a-"
"Scratch!" The 212th said in unison even some of Anakins men joining in. She was thankful for the helmet which hid her blush.
"Yeah. Exactly." She grabbed her bad arm subconsciously to support it.
"Kix or Jesse can one of you please check on Scratch for us?"
   "Yes sir."
"Well I guess you got your nickname (Y/n)." He patted you on the shoulder and allowed his hand to stay for a moment longer than usual.
"Aw man. I was hoping it'd be something cool." Shs whined as yet again she was in the trusted hands of the 501st medic's. Smirking slightly at Obi-Wan and sending a subtle wink his way.
