Difficult Problems Calls for an Unorthodox Solution

          Commander Cody x Reader: I know this isn't how the episode goes, but I didn't feel like trying to copy and paste everything.

   "So what squad are we taking with us?" Rex asked Cody as they walked onto the landing pad.
   "Clone Force 99. They call themselves the Bad Batch." Just then a ship came speeding down toward the landing pad landing infront of them. Out stepped four very different clones, and a female figure behind them.
   "Sorry we're late Commander. We were finishing up a mission when we got your transmission." The leader of this group told Cody.
   "Commander... Always good to see you." The female figure in the group pushed past the rest of them. Her fingers rested on his shoulder as she walked around him. Cody visibly tensed under her touch, and that caused the group to chuckle.
   "Captain Rex meet Clone Force 99 otherwise known as the Bad Batch, and their nanny." She growled under helmet.
   "Now now now. Is that really the way to greet a lady, Commander?" She walked back to the group and leaned on the biggest one.
   "This here is Wrecker he's the... Muscle of the group. Tech is the brains, the pilot, the interpretor, and basically anything else. Crosshair is the sniper and he's got an attitude. That there is well that's One-Tap, and she hates it when you waste ammo. So try not to miss your targets too much. I'm Sergeant Hunter." Hunter introduced everyone to the Captain and his men.
   "I'm Captain Rex and these are Arc Troopers Jesse, Fives, and Kix." The female figure finally removed her helmet.
   "This is touching and all, but don't we have a mission we were brought here for?" Her (e/c) eyes pierced into the Rex and Cody's eyes.
   "Don't get pissy, because Commander Cody broke up with you (Y/n)." Crosshair said to her, and she growled at him.
   "We'll brief you on the way." Cody said as he climbed aboard a transport.
   "Cody had a girlfriend?" Jesse asked Rex who just shrugged at him.
   "Some things are best left alone." He told Jesse who nodded. Later on in the flight.
   "What are you looking at?" Jesse asked Crosshair.
   "We don't usually work with Regs." He said as he flicked his toothpick at him.
   "Regs?" Jesse said as he tried to step forward, but was stopped by Rex.
   "Cool the attitude Cross. We gotta work together if this is gonna be another successful mission." (Y/n) said to him as she crossed her arms.
   "Enough. We're all on the same team fighting for the same thing. So get rid of the tempers, and listen up." Cody said as he stood infront of the group in an authoritarian way.
   "Sir we are taking heavy fire!" Suddenly the ship shook and started to fall. Out of pure instinct (Y/n) started shoving everyone to the back of the ship away from the main impact sight. She had just shoved Cody back with the others when the ship made impact. Everyone was quick to come to and started to climb out of the ship. Everyone but (Y/n) who laid on the ground unconscious.
   "One-Tap!" Crosshair called down to her she twitched which told him she was still alive. "We need to get her out of there!"
   "I can help I'll just need a couple of others." Cody started back towards the crash, but was stopped by Wrecker.
   "I got this." Wrecker walked up to the ship and lifted it out of the ground, and shoved it over. He bent down and picked her up gently and walked her back to the group. Cody was there first and ripped her helmet off her head.
   "I swear if you die I'm going to have to bring you back to tell you how stupid that was. Kix look her over for me." He nodded and stepped up to her. Scanning her quickly he looked back up at Cody.
   "She has internal injuries, but I can alleviate the pain. We just need to get her back to base so she can get looked over properly. Otherwise she sh-" He was interrupted by her convulsing a bit and her eyes shooting opened. "She's having a seizure! Quick get her on her side with her arm under her head." They did as told, but instead of vomit coming out it was blood. Cody rubbed her back gently. He looked at Hunter who looked at her sadly.
   "Why would she sacrifice herself like that especially for me?" Cody asked Hunter who sighed and looked away.
   "Because she still loves you, Commander." Hunter told him, and he looked down at her shocked. He heard a grunt of pain and turned to see Hunter rubbing the back of his head.
   "She didn't want anyone to know she still had emotions Hunter." Crosshair said as he put a new toothpick in his mouth.
   "I know she didn't, but atleast one of us should have a chance at something other than this war." Hunter rdtorted to him.
   "Well noone will have a shot at anything unless she gets some help soon." Kix told the others.
   "We all need help." Crosshair pointed out to the rest when battle droids came into view.

          After the mission

   Cody sat at her side worried sick. She had been in this bacta tank for a few days now, and he couldn't help but feel like he was to blame. She was sat in this bacta tank because of him, and he felt horrible. He should've thought about moving to the back on his own. He was a Commander for goodness sake why didn't he think of it. Severe nerve damage in her left arm caused her to lose it. So at the moment there was nothing there, but the moment she gets taken out it will be replaced with a mechanical one. Cody felt useless, because there was nothing he could do.
   "Listen here you have to get better. You might be a grade A pain in my ass, but I still love you. Thankfully I know you can't hear me since you're in there."
   Cody sat down in a chair near the tank, and buried his head in his hands. It should be him in there, but no he just had to be thick headed. He was so deep in thought he didn't realize she was getting pulled out. He didn't realize she was out until he looked up, and there she sat in a chair with a med droid working on her.
   "So this is what Skywalker feels like? I kind of like the arm." She said as she brought it up and moved her fingers and such. "I wasn't lying when I said it was good to see you again Commander." Cody stood up and went over to hug her.
   "I didn't realize it until recently, but I still love you (Y/n). Do you want to give us another chance?" She smirked at him and brought him down to her for a kiss.
   "If you couldn't tell that was my answer, Cody." She told him after they pulled away from eachother. He smiled and hugged her to his side. Enjoying eachothers silent company.
