The film is in italic Vanessa's POV: Me and everyone else were fast asleep in Mr. Turner's class. I woke up when I heard a loud noise, I see Shawn on the floor.
"Y'know these chairs really aren't the best for sleeping." Shawn says
"Oh, c'mon you got this innocent young girl. And somebody says she slept with this other guy right? And her reputation is shoot. And we think she's killed her self. Now where you gonna find this stuff?" Mr. Turner rambles
"Mr. Turner we just can't relate to these characters." Topanga says
"Why not?" Mr. Turner asks
"Because nobody acts like this." Shawn says
"Just because some guy says something about some girl she wants to kill herself over it? They say stuff about Heather Locklear every week, and she doesn't want to kill herself. She's on the cover of TV guide." Cory rambled
"You're right, Matthews." Mr. Turner says
"That's a first." I said
"I'm right?" Cory asks
"You're exactly right." Mr. Turner says
"So am I done with my education? Can I go?" Cory asks
"In Shakespeare's day the play's the thing. In our day I guess the thing is tv. So maybe we should put ourselves on tv and ask ourselves what we think about love, sex, and slander." Mr. Turner explained
"You mean interview each other?" Cory asks
"Kind of like a documentary?" Shawn asks
"Exactly." Mr. Turner says
"Hey y'know my uncle Ralph was in a documentary. They put a big blue dot over his face and changed his voice." Shawn says
Oh my idiot, Shawn.
Mr. Turner points at Shawn and walks away.
"Alright the school's got video equipment. Let's wear it out. We'll spilt into teams of two and make video reports. Interview your friends, your families, and each other. Let's just see who's got the more mature attitudes. Shakespeare or us." Mr. Turner rambles
"Us." Cory says
"Really? Ok my mature young friends. Pick partners." Mr. Turner says, Cory and Shawn and I look at each other, I point to Topanga and she nods
