Vanessa POV Cory was over at the vending machine. I could hear everything he was saying.
"Good morning Mr. Feeny" Cory says, while putting money in the vending machine and pushing a button.
"Morning Mr. Matthews " Mr.Fenny says, Cory pull out a candy bar, "a candy bar doesn't your mother feed you a proper breakfast?" Mr. Feeny says
"Oh yeah. She does, but I've gotta get the taste of shredded wheat out of my mouth" Cory says, opening the candy bar
"Y'know, you're not doing your body any favors loading up on junk like that." Mr.Feeny says, taking a drink of his coffee.
"Oh, thanks, Mr. Feeny. And please enjoy that high-vitamin astronaut drink you're sucking down." Cory says
"There's no gravity in space, Mr. Matthews, therefore astronauts suck up. Learn from them." Mr. Feeny says.
Cory walked over to the table, where Shawn and I were.
"He's a teacher, man. Keeping ragging on him, he's gonna make your whole sixth grade year miserable." Shawn says "he's got a point" I said, agreeing with Shawn
Cory shrugs "I'm gonna be miserable anyhow, this way I'm taking him with me." Cory says.
" Hey, who's that?" Shawn asks, looking at the new teacher sitting next to Mr. Feeny
"I'm pretty sure that she's new" I said
"She must be new, she's talking to Feeny." Shawn says.
"Okay, so how late did you stay up last night?" Cory asks Shawn and I "monologue" Cory says to us
"Monologue, first guest" I said
"Monologue, first guest, bad sketch." Shawn says
"Monologue, first guest, bad sketch, funny zoo animal." Cory says
"Monologue, first guest, bad sketch, funny zoo animal... Steve Lawrence!" I said, happy knowing I stayed up the latest
"Whoa!" Cory says, amazed of how late I stayed up
"Steve Lawrence!" Shawn says, I smirked while I nodded.
The bell rang. Shawn, Cory and I stood up to go to class.
"And there's the bell." Shawn says
"Four hours till lunch." Cory says
"That's way too long" I joke, we walked to class.
Mr. Feeny's class
Mr. Feeny was talking about Juliet and Romeo, but I wasn't paying attention. I was waiting for Shawn or Cory to tell me the score for the game. I thought Shawn would since I sit next to him.
