Vanessa's POV:
School
The hallway
Cory and I walked up to Shawn. He was on the phone
"Shawn! Shawn! C'mon we're going to be less for class." Cory says as we ran over to him
"Hold on im trying to check our messages." Shawn says
Mr. Turner walks out of Mr. Feeny's office
"Hey, John, what's your secret code?" Shawn asks as Mr. Turner walks by
"Oh it's 1434." Cory says
"Hey, Matthews, how do you know my secret code?" Mr. Turner asks
"Easy. It's the same number as your bank card. Oh. I owe you 40 bucks." Cory says
"Well, no messages. My dad hasn't called in 2 weeks now." Shawn says walking away down the phone
"Well I wouldn't worry too much. There could be a million good reasons." Mr. Turner says
Shawn turns his attention back to us
"Yeah uh... didn't you say he was on his way to Vatican to visit his old friend the pope." Cory says
"Yeah." Shawn says
"Well there only have one phone there and it's in the pope's bedroom and you don't want to go in there." Cory says
"It's just after his last letter I thought he was headed this way, I was hoping to see him that's all." Shawn says
He turns around and I quickly followed him. I hugged his side. Shawn put his arm on my shoulder.
Dylan is out of town for the week. We've officially been dating for 3 months.
"I'm sorry about your dad." I said to Shawn
"It's not your fault.. I mean hopefully Cory's right." Shawn says
After school
Shawn's
Cory, Shawn, Mr. Turner, and I went to look at apartments for Mr. Turner and Shawn
We walked into Shawn and Mr. Turner's
"I'm just saying I didn't like any of the apartments we saw." Shawn says, I was standing right next him
"Be specific." Mr. Turner says
"Ok the first one absolutely no furniture." Shawn says
"Shawn it was an unfurnished apartment." Mr. Turner says
"Thank you." Shawn says
"Shawn why are you being so difficult?" Mr. Turner says
"I'm not being so difficult. You know I didn't mind the nice duplex in the condo community, but you said that it was too expensive." Shawn says
