Vanessa's POV:
School

The boys ran through the hallway

"Steve Young takes the snatch." Cory says, I walked behind them while they played

"Jerry Rice goes long." Shawn says, running across to the other side of the hallway

"He throws a perfect 60 yard pass and hits." Cory says, throwing the ball and then hitting Frankie

"A blue 1995 Buick Regal!" Cory shouts

"Run!" Shawn says

I stood there for a second, and when Shawn ran by I jumped on his back, he picks up the football

"Really Ness?" Shawn asks sarcastically

"I'm too lazy to run." I smiled

Cory and Shawn ran to the other side of the hallway by the stairs, I was still on Shawn's back, he held my legs, I gripped onto his shirt.

"Uh.. Frankie. Joey." Cory says, as the boys slowly walk out "I realize it's none of my business why you're not beating us up, but.." Cory continues, the boys walking down the small steps, I quickly hopped off after Shawn got down the steps

"Why aren't you beating us up?" Cory asks

"Maybe they don't understand." Shawn suggested

"I'll translate. Why ain't you pounding us to a pulp?" Cory says, he used a voice that sounded like Harley, Joey, and Frankie

"Here. Here, let me try. Hey why no this?" Shawn asks, grabbing Frankie's hand and imitating a punch.

"Sorry. The thrill is gone." Frankie says

"Too bad. What you got there?" Shawn asks

"It's a letter from Harley Kiner." Joey says, tearing up

"It's ok, Joey." Frankie says to Joey

"How's Harley doing in his new reform school?" Shawn asks

"It's called Juvenile Boot Camp, and he loves it, thank you very much." Frankie says

"He never wants to come home. He doesn't say it here, but I think he's got a new gang." Joey says

"Are you ok?" I asked

"You don't get it! We're lackeys. We're hangers-on with nothing to hang on to." Joey says

"Come on, Joey. We might as well go to class." Frankie says, as he picks up Joey from the top of the trash can

"It's come to this!" Joey exclaims

"Ok, we're back live, second half. Steve Young back to pass." Cory says, the boys going back to the game, I stood by Shawn. We were up by the stairs
