Vanessa's POV: School The cafeteria
I had already gotten my lunch Cory and Topanga were in line.
I was sitting at our usual table when Shawn runs through the door over to me and drags me from the table to Cory.
"Cory, Vanessa I've got a major problem." Shawn says
Shawn was holding my hand
"Awe you never let me down, Shawn." Cory says
"How long has it been since I've seen my mother?" Shawn asks
"You mean since she took her little vacation?" Cory says and I kind of heard him chuckle as he said it
"She ran away. She ran away for a year. Cory deal with it. I have." Shawn says
"And you're doin' much better." Cory says
"Yeah Shawn I think you're handling your situation very well." I said
"Thanks." Shawn says to both of us
Shawn pulled me under his shoulder
"Now how long has it been since I've seen my mother?" Shawn asks again
"I don't know. How long do you think it's been?" Cory asks
"A minute. I saw my mom, Ness, and Cory. She was right across the street at the trailer view motel. She was looking through her window at our trailer. Cory, Vanessa my mom's back." Shawn says
Cory stood with his mouth open and I pulled Shawn into a hug. Shawn seemed happy but I had my doubts.
Shawn kissed my forehead.
After school Shawn's Trailer
Shawn had just explained the whole situation to his dad. Cory stood behind Shawn and I. Shawn had his arm around my shoulders. Mr. Hunter was sitting in a recliner.
"You're telling me for the last year I've traipsed across these United States searching for my long lost Virna, and you find her right across the highway?" Mr. Hunter questions
"It's her dad. She's been watching us." Shawn says
"Well how long she been there? How's she look? When's she comin' home?" Mr. Hunter questions
"I don't know. I haven't gone over there yet." Shawn says
"Why not?" Mr. Hunter asks
"I'm afraid I'm gonna chase her away again." Shawn says
I hug his side and Shawn wraps his arm around me.
Mr. Hunter stands up. I let go of Shawn and stood next to him.
