Cory's
Vanessa, Cory, and I sat at the table
"You know the best thing about studying at your house?" I said
"Good lighting in the bathroom?" Cory suggests
"That's why I come here." Vanessa says
"No Feeny." I said, then we hear someone knock on the door and it's Feeny
"Morning." Mr. Feeny says
"That is really not fair." I said
Mr. Feeny knocks again
"Shawn, you're closer to the door let him in." Cory says
"Why? So he can hassle me? No. That door is doing exactly what it's supposed to do." I said
"Hey, I know Feeny. He's a pro." Cory says as he stands up
"Now he leaves that principal stuff at school." Cory says then he opens the door
"Ready for the test Miss. Myers and gentlemen?" Mr. Feeny asks as he enters the house
"I'm ready." Vanessa says
"Good." Mr. Feeny says
"Again. Not fair." I said
"We're studying Mr. Feeny." Cory says
"See? My history book is right here." I said picking up my history book and holding it with one hand
"Still in its original cellophane, I see." Mr. Feeny says as he grabs my history book
"I get top dollar on resale."I said
"You know Mr. Hunter, I've noticed that the students who do best in my class have usually read the book." Mr. Feeny says
Vanessa's book was open and I know she was rereading it
"Yeah what's that get them?" I asked
"Into college." Mr. Feeny says
"More books." I said as I walk over by Cory
Vanessa follows me.
