Vanessa's POV:
English

"And in the night, he searches, and in the day, he searches, and on the morrow, he will search, close, reaching, yet it will not be found and he knows that." Cory reads in front of the class

"Nice passion, Matthews. Very nice." Mr. Turner says

Shawn had pushed two desks together and was sleeping on top of them

"Hey, Hunter." Mr. Turner says as he walks over to Shawn

"Hey, how were you affected by that reading?" Mr. Turner asks as he taps Shawn's back

"I don't wanna go to school, daddy." Shawn says

"Cory's reading poetry." Shawn sleepily says

"You get your butt out of that bed and get to class!" Mr. Turner says as he plays along.

"Ok." Shawn says as he sleepily stands up and walks out of class

"Gee, I wonder what's gonna happen." Mr. Turner says, I shrug my shoulders

Frankie has his hand up

"Frankie, do it, buddy." Mr. Turner says turning around and pointing at Frankie

"What the poet is saying in this beautiful piece-" Frankie says as Cory walks back to his desk "which was very movingly read I might add" Frankie says as he turns around to look at Cory

"Aye." Cory says

"Is that sometimes we love, and though it seems the object of our love is within reach, it does not reciprocate, and so we must keep reaching." Frankie says

This was similar to how I have been feeling for Shawn. I felt tears threaten to spill. I took a deep breath and swallowed the lump in my throat.

"It's not about a doggy?" Cory asks

Topanga turns around to look at her idiot of a boyfriend

"Shh, honey, don't speak." Topanga says putting a finger up to Cory's lips

"Outstanding, Stecchino, outstanding. Anything else?" Mr. Turner compliments

"Yes. Thank you." Frankie says

The bell rings

I walked out of the classroom with Topanga.
