Vanessa's POV: Chubbie's
I was on a date, so was Shawn. My date wouldn't stop talking about himself. I left as soon as I finished my food.
School The next day The hallway
I was by Cory when Shawn walks up to us. He was walking weird.
"What happened to you?" Cory asks Shawn
"It's the weirdest thing. Last night, I'm sitting at Chubbie's, right? I'm looking deep into Paula Balboa's chestnut eyes. I lean forward, about to make my move, when some yaho hits me in the butt with a dart." Shawn explains
"Ha! You-you didn't see who it was?" Cory asks, at first he was laughing then he stopped
"No." Shawn replies
"A lot of sick people out there, man." Cory says
"So how was your night with the lovely Topanga?" Shawn asks
"It was good. Good. 90% good." Cory says
"Mhmm." I hummed
"And the other 20%?" Shawn asks
"Well, I-I may have kind of gotten caught up in the moment and said some things that maybe I shouldn't have said." Cory says
"Cor, did you get emotional with Topanga?" Shawn asks, we were now over by the other lockers
"It was hard not to. I mean, she looked so beautiful." Cory says
"You didn't tell her that, did you?" Shawn asks
"No. Say she's beautiful? Pssh yeah. like I'd say that, Nessa, and Shawn." Cory says, he was pacing around a little bit "I said, I love you." Cory says
Shawn gasps
"What?" Cory asks
Shawn continues to gasp
"What? What?" Cory asks nervously
"You idiot! Once word gets around what you told Topanga every girls gonna want to hear it." Shawn says
