Vanessa's POV: School History
I was trying so hard to pay attention in class but I was stressed about school, and this weekend is the dinner with my mother.
Shawn was flipping through the textbook in a very bored way.
"And as this will be the last presidential election in which you do not cast a ballot, I want this classroom to be an open forum to discuss the issues which most concern your lives." Mr. Feeny says as he walks around the room to Shawn's desk
"Mr. Hunter what issue most concerns your life?" Mr.Feeny asks
"The swimsuit issue." Shawn responds
"How am I doin'?" Shawn asks
Cory raises his hand
"Buffo, Mr. Hunter." Mr. Feeny says
He walks up to Cory
"Mr. Matthews?" Mr. Feeny asks
"Uh, yes. Actually there's a pressing social matter which I feel equipped to discuss with confidence and alacrity." Cory says
"When did he get smart?" I sarcastically said to Shawn
Shawn chuckles
"Well then you have the floor, Mr. Matthews." Mr. Feeny says
"Nah, that used me up." Cory says
"Save us, Miss Lawerence." Mr. Feeny says walking up to Topanga's desk
"Well, first of all, I'd just like to say that I think Cory's really cute for tryin'." Topanga says looking at Cory
"Oh, thank you, sugar." Cory says and I can hear his smile
"And that I think the biggest crisis facing this is the breakdown of the American family." Topanga says
"Oh, you always gotta go after Shawn." Shawn says
I wasn't in the same situation as Shawn but my family was definitely different than 'the normal family'
"Well, I just think that lots of other issues, like crime and the decline in education—" Topanga says
"Hey, hey, lay off me." Shawn interrupts
"You ok, sweetie?" I jokingly asked
Shawn gives me a smile
"All have to do with how we're brought up in our homes." Topanga says finishing her opinion
"Well, now, I agree with you, Miss Lawerence." Mr, Feeny says
Shawn closes his book and grabs his stuff
"That's it." Shawn says as he stands up and starts walking to the door
