Vanessa's POV: It's the first day of 8th grade. Cory and I were just getting to Mr. Turner's where Shawn was staying.
Over the summer I didn't get taller I'm still short. Five foot to be exact. I did look more mature though. I was wearing light jeans with a hole in the knee and a white tank top, and a brown, and yellow flannel I stole from Shawn about a year ago.
Cory opens the door.
"Shawn, we got to get to school." Cory says.
Over the summer Cory had gotten taller.
"What you guys don't know the way without me?" Shawn asks sarcastically, eating pizza, he was wearing a robe and pajamas
"Just come on." Cory says
"Cor, stop being so impatient." I said
"Fine. This pizza's bad anyway." Shawn says, then he sniffs the air
"No. Wait. It's you." Shawn says to Cory, he points at Cory
I sniff the air too
"Oh my gosh are you trying to make us throw up?" I sarcastically said
"Oh, no... too much cologne. I knew this would happen." Cory says
"Cologne, nice clothes, the spinning... how could I forget? It's Wednesday T-day. Topanga's back from her summer trip." Shawn says
"Oh, yeah." Cory says
"So you're going to do it, huh Cor? You're gonna ask her to be your girlfriend?" Shawn asks
"If you don't chicken out." I said
"Don't doubt him." Shawn says
"I really hope she says yes. C'mon c'mon we're going to be late." Cory says
"Ah... lateness. A problem for me once, that was of course until I got a teacher-roommate." Shawn says "John?" Shawn calls out
"Yeah. Hey, Matthews, nice outfit. Job interview?" Mr. Turner says
"Watch." Shawn whispers to us
"Listen, John, I'm dragging a little this morning, gonna need some extra time. Think you could jot a note for me?" Shawn asks
"Sure. No problem." Mr. Turner says, while he fixes his tie
