Hello, and welcome to Huntington Avenue! ♡

It's so nice to see you all here! If you've clicked on this book, I assume you are ready to dive into yet another world of a story that's been floating around in my mind for months. If you would like to jump right in, by all means do so, but I encourage you to please stick around while I explain a couple of things—please and thank you!

For those of you who have read Peripheral Vision, which is the primary journey of Zach, Kelsey, and their friends, this book will be quite a surprise to you all. I wrote PV when I was fifteen and it was my very first project. I didn't expect to get so far on this platform (even if it seems small to a lot of other large authors) and much less finish it. During the summer of 2020, I read PV and fell in love with my characters for a second time. I felt as if I needed to give them justice, or for lack of better words—a reimagined story for them with many more adventures.

These characters from PV were very undeveloped whether it would be names, personalities, ethnicities, and overall who they are as people. Most of these characters didn't even have last names! In Huntington Avenue, you will be seeing how much more developed my characters and writing style have become. I've changed the names of most characters and altered them, but they still have the roots I gave them, however with more detail.

Huntington Avenue is split into two parts, which means the first book will end on a cliffhanger. Part II will be published daily beginning 2/15, so please stay tuned!

Please excuse my rambling about my babies who I've come to adore even more than before (hey, that rhymes!). I hope you enjoy Zach, Kelsey, and the others' story as I have written it for a second time.

As I've stated above, there are quite a few differences between Peripheral Vision and Huntington Avenue. Even though these works can be considered two completely different books and each can be read as a standalone, those who have read PV might be a little bit confused about who's who. Huntington Avenue is a teen fiction series which is rated PG-13 for the disclaimers and content warning below. It is not listed mature, but there are some scenes which might be uncomfortable for some readers.

This series contains:
Minimal depictions of violence & blood
Bullying (physical & verbal)
Subtle sexual references (minimal)
References to smoking
Flashbacks with PTSD nature
References to anxiety
Childhood trauma (no abuse)
Possible near-death experience(s)
A cliffhanger finale! (for Part I)

This series does not contain:
Swearing (at most, minimal)
Smut of any kind
Death/suicide
Any depictions of physical self harm
Drama involving religion
Drama involving sexuality
Abuse (physical or sexual)
Graphic violence

But it also contains:
Realistically flawed characters
Lots of fluff and cute scenes
A pinch of humor (at least to me)
A lighthearted plot
