Yuri earns the title of the idol with the golden mind from netizers
2020 for sur ehas been a busy year for BLACKPINK and the members.
The girl group has finally released their first full album in 4 years since debut. (A/N: this hurts to write)
Netizers appreciated especially the youngest member of the group for her activities.
Despite a dating scandal, the idol was also under the spotlight for her biggest achievements.
1 - She was credited for writing, composing and producing music, a big achievement for the female idols of the company. Aside being credited for The Album and various Koren artists, Yuri was also credited as one of the producers for Arabian Grande's latest album Positions, she's also rumored to be involved with the singer's next album.
2 - She has gained various contracts with many brands. Starting from being the ambassador of Louis Vuitton, Yuri surprised the media by becoming Gucci's muse and announcing her collaboration with Swarovski to release a new collection of jewelry. Lately fans also noticed her association with the luxury brand of watches Rolex on YG's official page.
3 - Her acting career skyrocketed. Yuri started the year being announced as the female lead for Psycho but it's okay, becoming the lead actress of the awaited acting return of Kim Soo Hyun. The drama received impressive rating from both national and international fans. In September 2020 it was revealed she joined the cast of The Penthouse: War In Life, which is currently one of the highest rated Korean dramas. Despite playing a secondary role in the drama, netizers still appreciated her. However the choice of roles made some international fans unhappy, but the Korean netizers took her side appreciating how good her acting skills have become for acting as both a successful woman and high school student who is struggling in the same year. Yuri is also known for having big dramas, even with her debut drama in 2015 she managed to take home four awards. Fans are excited whenever she's announced to take part into another drama as they can already expect a top tier cast and interesting plot.
4 - Her love-life was both criticized and accepted. In February Yuri was revealed to have been dating Na Jaemin from NCT. The news made netizers have mixed opinions: some were disagreeing as Jaemin two years younger than Yuri and he's just become legal, meanwhile fans showed their whole support to the two. During their relationship Jaemin had mixed opinions after it was rumored he shares his Netflix account with an actress. None companies or idols said anything about the issue and fans assumed it was settled down in private. However in December 2nd it was revealed Yuri and Jaemin broke up due to busy schedules.
After the impressive achievements of breaking many records with The Album and the singles released for the album, Yuri also took part in some of the most known Korean dramas and highest rated, this year she took part in two of those dramas and fans recall her role in Sky Castle as well.
Netizers assume she really has a golden mind after the success the things she touched get.

A/N Here we go with the dramas I chose for Yuri this year. Hope you like them, because personally they're my favorite releases this year. I also took into consideration Crash Landing On You but I think 2 dramas in a year are enough for Yuri. Anyway one of the biggest news for the next year is that I'll include more about her acting career (as long as I can because I have exams in June/July). And guess who's excited about Snowdrop and the solos, I know y'all are excited too. I can't wait for Rosé's solo, image the ballad shell pull off. And it's not done yet, maybe I'll have another update for later before the new year officially starts.
