The incredible price this Yuri (BLACKPINK) photocard was sold for
Recently, a fan on Twitter has gained attention for purchasing a photocard of BLACKPINK's maknae Yuri.
The photocard is part of the 2022 Welcoming Collection of the group, and was sold for the price of 23 million USD, becoming the most expensive photocard ever sold by a kpop idol.
The seller revealed to be a former YG worker, and said Yuri gifted a series of signed cards to the staff.
The seller claimed also that they first set an average price of 100 USD, but later they joined an online auction, selling the card for the highest price ever.
Rumors have been spreading about who the buyer is, some fans have claimed the person is a sasaeng that has been purchasing stuff related to Yuri ever since 2019, but according to the seller, the person is actually a collector, and they currently own almost all the photocards released by YG about Yuri, as well as owning a big collection of BLACKPINK's photocards too.
