YURI becomes the new face of Christian Louboutin and Valentino Garavani
On December 31st Yuri was announed as the newest face of the well known brand Christian Louboutin, it was also revealed she would become one of the new models for Christian Louboutin Beauty too in the upcoming months. Becoming the first Korean person to represent the brand worldwide.
According to marketing experts this choice will benefit both the idol and the brand as five new stores will open across Asia by 2023 and Yuri will be the general director appointed for the first six years.
This exclusive contract was signed in September when Yuri partecipated as a model for the Versace runaway in Italy and she shortly after went to Paris.
To give the announce was none other than the founder of the brand himself, Christian Louboutin, who officially reconized her as Miss Louboutin.
Aside Louboutin, Valentino Garavani is the other brand that has announced its new partnership with Yuri. Yuri is now the first Lady Valentino as the newest brand ambassador.
After the success of both It's okay not to be okay and the three seasons of The Penthouse: war in life, as well as her comeback as a soloist in 2021 and her debut as a model on the Versace runaway, Yuri's net worth is rumored to be 27 million USD dollars, becoming one of the richest female idols ever.
According to an insider Yuri was the highest paid model who took part in the Versace show, not only that, her income per episode in the second and third season of The Penthouse is rumored to be 55,000$. Her collaboration with GUCCI and the release of WHITE NOTES FRAGRANCE is also believed to contribut to at least a fourth of her current net worth, being the best selling women perfume in 2021, and GUCCI's most requested item after going sold out eight times consecutively in the stores and on the online shop.
According to the analysts, based on the yearly revenue of the french brand, Yuri's net worth is expected to increase of at least 4 million USD dollars just by her future campaigns with Louboutin.
However, if the idol will release music or will she take a new role in a drama, the amount stated is expected to at least double, adding aswell her incomes as GUCCI and VERSACE's brand ambassador and Swarovski's muse. No further notice has been released regarding her partnership with ROLEX.
The news received many negative riviews as when being asked about the issue, Korean media doesn't seem too excited about the plan, calling Yuri greedy to receive power in the fashion industry and selfish for getting bigger opportunities compared to the rest of the group.
The bad reviews didn't affect the idol's image negatively, instead Yuri ranked first among the popularity monthly ranking of idols, surpassing her fellow members Jennie and Jisoo and the most influential male idols as BTS' Jimin and Jungkook.
