Chapter 34 - Replication

I was enjoying my food when Soo Min went to check on the girls in the bathroom. I was a bit jealous of Nessa. I wish I had that cool power, but of course the geek of the group, who has been dreaming of having powers since the day she discovered Sailor Moon, doesn't get powers of her own!

I heard the girls come back and sit down. That's weird they are quieter than normal, I thought. I looked up after 5 minutes of no noise. I glanced at Nessa who looked even worse than when she left.

Nessa was still soaking wet, but now her long ringlet covered hair was smothered in mud and her nose was black. Lena was covered in dirt making her face dark brown and her shirt was charred at the sleeves. Soo Min was covered in soot and I think a piece of her hair was on fire.

My mouth dropped open at the state of them. The soup in my mouth traveled back into my bowl.

"What the heck happened to you guys? We were only gone for a few minutes!" Minho asked surprised as he walked up to the table.

Taemin right behind him started laughing like crazy. Lisa finally looked up from her game and almost dropped her phone into her bowl of soup as it fell to the floor.

A loud scream came from behind us. "MY BATHROOM! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BATHROOM?"

The girls stood up quickly. "We need to go!" They said harmoniously and ran out. The rest of us looked at each other for a moment before reacting. I grabbed my bowl of soup and started chugging it as Minho made it rain money while Taemin grabbed Lisa's arm as she searched for her phone on the floor.

"WHO RUINED MY REMODELED BATHROOM?!"

I looked back as I drank my delicious soup. Trying to act natural. The owner, a small chubby man was holding up a mop in the air while scanning the room. He paused his eyes on me for a few extra seconds. I continued sipping my soup and I was sure he was buying it until Lisa screamed from under the table. Lisa had kicked Taemin off of her to get her phone.

"I found it! Let's go before the owner catches us!" Lisa's head popped out and her smile faded into a scared frown. The owner glared at us. Taemin grabbed Lisa again this time successfully budging her and getting her to run. The owner raced to our table making me drop his ceramic bowl and cracking it. The man paused mid stride and screamed in agony at the sound of his bowl breaking. His face was horribly red and he screamed again.

"MINHOOOOOOOOOO!!!" He yelled, my mouth drops open as I realized the man knew Minho and most likely Taemin. And with my super intuition abilities I could tell this was not the first nor the 5th time they ruined his restaurant.

Minho grabbed my arm and dragged me behind him as the store owner followed us through the restaurant.

"STOP THEM!" The owner ordered at his staff while they stood in shock. One of the man's employees screamed Minho's name and held the door open for him. We flew past the door and the young man closed the door behind us and I heard the lock click. The owner got to the door and started banging it and chastised the employee.

"I'LL GET YOU ONE DAY! MINHO, DON'T YOU DARE COME BACK TO MY RESTAURANT!" The owner warned while jabbing his finger at us.  The owner glared at Minho through the door's small window until we lost sight of him.

We got to the others panting like crazy. "That explains so much! Remember when we came to eat here a long time ago and we got scolded for ruining his bathroom? We even got banned from eating here for two years! " Minho said to Taemin who just nodded. "HA! This is why?!" He said while glaring at my 3 newish friends.

I was feeling left out more than ever. I wanted to be covered in mud and be yelled at Minho for ruining his life! This is not fair!

A surge of electricity coursed through the air above us then the street light above us blasted little pieces of glass to the ground. The loud sound scared us and we started running as far away as possible from the restaurant.

On the plus side Minho was still holding my arm. I smiled up at him when we stopped to rest and he looked at me weird when he saw my face and quickly let go of my arm.

I didn't mind though. I was already creating a romantic comedy fanfic of Minho and me in a love triangle with Taemin in my head.
