Truthfully, I noticed everyone's reaction except for mine. One second, I was by the fence the next second I was center stage with my arms extended. It felt like it wasn't really me up there with everyone's shocked eyes staring me down.
My friends stood out to me like a sore thumb. Nessa's face of terror broke my heart, but there was only one pair of eyes I was focused more on. The only pair that my eyes met. Her eyes were surprised with a splash of anger. The Beautiful Asian Woman. Who was this stranger? Her face was so familiar, but I still couldn't put a name on it. She was glaring at me while studying all my features. I blinked and she was gone, the guards running after her.
I slowly started noticing the ringing in my ears, the pain on my side, the cold wet fabric clinging to my skin, and the screams of the people around me. My vision started to blur and turn black. I opened my heavy eyelids, only seeing hazy faces staring down at me. One of those faces asked me questions which I couldn't understand.
Everything went dark.
