"You wanted to see me, Sir?" Lee Donghyuck walked into the First Class room, seeing 7 First Classers staring back at him. He bowed upon entry.

"Yes, we have a proposition for you. We are giving you a promotion."

"A promotion? So I'm not in trouble, Sir?"

"No, for once we've brought you in here not to scold you. We need a new person to take on a title that has been 'out of order' for some time. And we think you're the perfect role for it!"

"Me, Sir?"

"Yes, you. The role is a Second Class role but we think with some adjustments to your current self, you will do just fine!"

Are these guys seriously giving me a promotion! I'm not in trouble??? Do they like me now?? :))

"But wait, what about my current role, Sir?? I love it so much. Do I have to discard it?"

"No, you can keep it. You will have two roles now both alongside each other."

Donghyuck couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was finally being treated like everyone else! He's not being laughed at or made fun of by the First Classers for once.

"But there is something else," began one of the magnificent beings standing in front of Donghyuck, "because it's been so long since we've had this role functioning we need you to do a bit of research. We're going to send you to observe the humans, so you can better understand your role as a protector."

"You're sending me somewhere, Sir?"

"You'll be going in 1 hour. We've enrolled you in a University as a Medical Student. There you'll learn more about humans."

One of the large beings got up and stood over Hyuck, completely towering over him.

"We're giving you the name Haechan, it means full sun. Fitting, right? Your body will be that of a 19-year-old human boy's as well."

Donghyuck stared back at the magnificent being, marveling at him.

"Oh, and one more thing, don't screw this up like always. You don't want to end up like the last Protector do you?"

Donghyuck gulped and bowed to the Firsts before running off.

I'm actually gonna be a human! I can't wait! But I mustn't blow my cover or screw this up! They've probably given this role to me because they love to see me mess up. Well, not this time Lee Donghyuck!

Donghyuck remembered the new name he's been given.

Oh, that's right! I'm Haechan now!!! Wow, and it means sun!! Perfect! AH BUT I CAN'T MESS UP ANYMORE, THE FIRSTS WILL SURELY KILL ME IF I STEP OUT OF LINE. OH GOD, THIS IS SO STRESSFUL.

Jaemin watched as Donghyuck ran into their shared room, tripping over his own feet.

"OW!"

"Hyuck, come on. Be more careful please?" said Jaemin walking towards him. "Oh yeah, how bad did you screw up this time?"

"I didn't! They gave me a new title! I'm now a Second Class!"

"What?! Seriously!?"

"Yep! And I'm going really soon so I won't see you for some time," Donghyuck threw his arms around Jaemin, catching him off guard. Jaemin returned the hug.

"I'm happy for you, but please be careful. You know they do these things because they want you to fail."

"I know, but I won't fail this time!" Hyuck flashed a smile at Jaemin before beginning out of the room. "I'm all around, remember? I'll still be here with you!" Donghyuck shouted as he ran out of the room and down the corridor

"Me too!!! Remember me Hyuck!" Jaemin shouted, watching Hyuck as he got further away and eventually out of sight.

"That boy," Jaemin shook his head, going back to his room.
