~ A COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER ~

"Mark?" calls Haechan from the kitchen.

Mark gets up from his seat and goes in to find Haechan reading a cooking book.

"Ah!" Haechan shrieks as he sees Mark walk in, "Don't look! It's a surprise!" Haechan covers the book from Mark.

Mark puts a hand over his eyes and smiles gently, "what did you call me in for?"

"Uh, what would you like for dinner?"

Mark takes his hand off his widened eyes, "YOU'RE making dinner?" he says with shock. Haechan had never made dinner for himself let alone the two of them. You could say he's the exact opposite of a natural when it comes to cooking.

"Don't look!"

"Sorry!" Mark turns around quickly. "You're really making dinner?"

"Mhmm, I wanted to make it for you," he blushes, "so, what's your favourite meal? I know you like spaghetti a lot."

"I love spaghetti!"

"Yay!" Haechan says excitedly. "I'll make spaghetti for us!"

Mark giggles at the boy, his body still turned away from him. "So you don't need my help?

Suddenly, Mark feels the gentle and warm hands of Haechan on his upper back. He leans into his ear, pressing his upper body against Mark, "I've got it~," he whispers softly, his honey voice like heaven to Mark's ears.

Haechan gently pushes Mark out of the kitchen and begins on the dinner.

"Ta-da!" Haechan says pointing to the two plates of spaghetti on the table. His eyes were sparkling as he looked at Mark and he was waiting in anticipation for Mark's reaction, "does it look good?"

"It looks so yummy!" says Mark with a big smile on his face, "you really did this all yourself?"

Haechan nods quickly and takes Mark's hand, guiding them both over to the table. They take a seat opposite each other and Mark smiles lovingly at his boyfriend in front of him. He could see his eager eyes waiting for him to take the first bite so he does just that.

"Is it yummy?" Haechan asks, a forkful of spaghetti ready to enter his mouth.

As Mark puts the bite into his mouth, the taste is more than apparent. It was horrid. Strange, and in the worst way possible. As Mark slowly chews the food in his mouth, new flavours keep arriving, each one more foul tasting than the last. He squints his eyes and gulps down the mush in his mouth before taking a big sip of his water.

He looks to Haechan who is just about to put the forkful into his mouth. He watches as he opens his mouth wide for the spaghetti and chews quickly before slowing down and stopping entirely. He widens his eyes and looks at Mark who is still staring at him. All of a sudden, Haechan runs to the kitchen and spits the food into the trash before coming back in with a saddened face.

"You didn't like it did you?"

Mark smiles sweetly and gets up to be next to Haechan. He puts his arm around him and kisses him on the head gently, "it's okay, don't be upset. Cooking is really hard. Even the world's best chefs made food like this." He points to Haechan's spaghetti and laughs a little. "It was amazing for your first try."

"Really?" Haechan cheers up a bit and leans his head into Mark, allowing Mark to stroke his hair gently.

"Really."

Mark picks up the plates and takes them to the kitchen, "shall we order pizza instead?"

"I'm glad we got pizza, this is yummier than my food," says Haechan as he takes another slice.

"Hey, Haechan, don't you have to go back soon?"

Haechan slows his eating down briefly and looks at Mark; he had forgotten that his next report is in a matter of weeks. Time seemed to just be slipping through their fingers.

"Mmm," he nods, "it's my last report before I leave."

"Are you still gonna ask them if you can stay forever?"

"I'll BEG them to stay! I don't wanna leave yet~" he whines, taking another bite of his pizza.

Mark giggles at Haechan but he still has his doubts. "But, what if they don't let you stay?"

Haechan ignores him and continues eating pizza.

"Haechan? Haechan~" he waves his hand in front of him.

"Don't worry about it, Mark. They'll let me stay. I promise," Haechan holds up his pinky for Mark. Mark smiles and joins pinkies with him.

"Here," he picks up the last slice of pizza and puts it on Haechan's plate, "it's for you." Mark makes his way to the kitchen to clear up their spaghetti dinner.

Haechan smiles widely at the new slice and joins Mark in the kitchen. "Thank you for the last slice!" he says excitedly, "Mark is the best boyfriend!"

Mark blushes and turns away from Haechan, "you're too cute."

Haechan bounces around the kitchen while Mark begins scraping the plates.

"Mark~ can we cuddle please?"

"After I clean these up."

"Mark~," Haechan wraps his arms around Mark's shoulders and hugs him, "we can clean them up later~"

How could Mark say no to that? He puts the plate down and turns to face Haechan. When he locks eyes with him, he feels his breath stop and his heart race. Why did he still make him nervous? Maybe it was because he was beautiful, the most beautiful person Mark had ever seen. He was perfect in every way and as Mark kept admiring him, he noticed a small smirk creep onto Haechan's face.

Haechan slowly wraps his hands around the back of Mark's neck and leans in, his brown eyes fluttering at him. Mark wraps his own hands around Haechan's soft waist in response and looks at Haechan with all the love in the world.

"Haechan," Mark begins softly, his eyes peering down to Haechan's pink and plump lips, "I love you."

Mark watches as Haechan tries to hide his smile, his cheeks blushing red a little, "I love you too."

Slowly, Mark leans in and connects his lips to Haechan's, kissing him gently. The younger softly kisses back and melts into Mark, his arms relaxing around Mark's neck. Haechan stands on his tiptoes and tilts his head a little. Mark's hands grab Haechan's waist tighter and move him in closer, deepening their kiss.

However, they had to stop because Haechan couldn't stop smiling and giggling at the event. As the two separate, Haechan wraps his whole body around Mark engulfing him in a hug, overwhelmed from all the happiness and excitement he's feeling.

"Mark! That was my first kiss!"
