~ couple days later ~

Mark sat at the table with Jaehyun, waiting for Johnny's class to finish.

"Mark?" asked Jaehyun looking at the younger.

"Yeah?" said Mark, still staring at his phone.

"Uh..." Jaehyun started, "you know you can talk to us about anything right?"

Mark stopped what he was doing and looked at Jaehyun. Jaehyun had never spoken to him so seriously before. It freaked him out a little.

"Uh,,, yeah?"

"If there's anything you wanna tell us, we're here, you know?"

Mark could feel himself getting embarrassed. Was this about Haechan again??

"I don't have anything to tell you guys."

"But, if you did, you know we're here to listen to you. Or if you didn't wanna tell Johnny because he teases you lots, you can just tell me!"

"You tease me just as much!"

"No~~ i wouldn't, not if you told me something really serious."

"Well, guess what? I have nothing to tell you or Johnny!" Mark went back to his phone.

"Guys! Look who I found on the way here!" called Johnny as he entered the cafeteria, "he said he wants to have lunch with us!"

Jaehyun smiled and tapped Mark's arm, signaling for him to look towards Johnny.

Oh no,, more teasing, thought Mark, as he turned around to see a gorgeous Haechan standing next to Johnny. He looked so small and delicate next to Mark's tall friend, like a little baby that needs protecting.

Mark quickly turned around when he realised he was gawking at the boy.

"Haechan, you can sit next to Mark," said Johnny, "I'll sit on this side with Jaehyun."

"Okay! Thank you!" Haechan said cheerfully. He's so happy that he's made friends!

"Hi, Jaehyun. Hi Mark." Haechan said greeting the table. Jaehyun flashed him a smile while Mark doesn't dare to look at him.

"Mark, you're not going to greet your friend?" said Johnny, trying to be a wingman but also teasing him at the same time.

Mark shot Johnny a sour look before Haechan started speaking.

"It's okay, he already said hello to me," said Haechan, saving Mark from embarrassment.

The 4 of them eat their lunch together and chat about work and random stuff until the lunch period is over.

"So what's everyone doing after this then?" Asks Jaehyun to the table, "you guys wanna do something?"

"I don't know, I was thinking I might go home, go to sleep, watch something..." said Mark.

"Okay so Mark has no plans then," said Jaehyun. "Haechan what about you?"

"What about me?" asked Haechan innocently.

"Are you doing anything right now?"

"Right now? Well you know what I'm doing right now, I'm with you guys!"

"No, AFTER lunch," emphasised Johnny, "do you have any plans?"

"Uh, I don't think so?"

"That's great then! How about we all go somewhere!"

"Okay!" said Haechan smiling at the group.

"Ooo actually," said Johnny looking at Jaehyun, "I just remembered, we have an assignment due soon and we haven't started it. We better do that now, huh Jaehyun?"

"Oh- Yeah we have lots to do, sorry guys. But you two can still do something!"

"Okay! Just us then Mark," said Haechan smiling at Mark.

"We're gonna get going now," said Jaehyun, quickly grabbing Johnny who is almost blushing watching the two friends. "Bye!"

Haechan waved goodbye to the two before looking back at Mark.

"I like your friends Mark. Or are they my friends as well now? I don't really know how to make friends aha," Haechan spoke to Mark, who was still embarrassed from being in front of Haechan around Jaehyun and Johnny.

"They can be your friends as well," mumbled Mark, not looking at Haechan.

"Mark!? Are you okay!?? You're not looking at me!!!! Did you really go blind from the sun!!?" Haechan panics, grabbing Mark randomly. He grabs his cheeks and points them towards his own so he can see him. Haechan inspects his eyes again before Mark starts laughing.

"I didn't go blind Haechan, I'm okay," said Mark, as the younger released his hands from Mark's face. "shall we go somewhere?"

Haechan nodded enthusiastically in response and the two smiled at each other.

"So where do you wanna go?" asks Mark, as they both walk out of the gate.

"Can I choose? Really?"

Mark looked at Haechan and nodded. Haechan pulled an excited puppy-like expression and grabbed Mark's hand.

Mark on instinct recoiled his hand before Haechan grabbed it again.

"I have to hold you or you might not keep up," said Haechan, smiling at Mark. Mark looked down at their hands before looking back up at Haechan and smiling brightly, his ears turning pink when he looks at him.

Haechan leads Mark, the two giggling and running together as Mark wonders where the hell Haechan could be leading him to.
