Mark didn't know which way to run to find him. He got extremely lucky when he thought he could hear Haechans voice talking to someone.
He ran in that direction, his head a little fuzzy from the drinks he's had, but that didn't stop him. He had to see Haechan again.
When he gets to the alleyway, he sees Haechan talking to another person. It's not Yuta, but who is that?
"Haechan!"
"Mark?"
Haechan leaves the other and walks over to an out of breath Mark.
"What are you-,"
"Haechan," he huffed, still getting his breath back, "please. Please stop ignoring me. I cant- I can't deal with it anymore."
Haechan's eyes widened and a smile crept onto his face. Haechan went to hug Mark but to his surprise, it seemed like Mark wanted it more. Mark engulfed Haechan in a tight hug, resting his head on his shoulder.
"Mark~," Haechan began, whispering softly into Mark's ear. "I'm so sorry. I'll tell you everything."
Tears were beginning to form in Mark's eyes as he hugged Haechan tighter before he got an idea.
They broke their hug and Mark grabbed Haechan's hand and ran with him, making the most of this new start that he's been given.
"Ack- Mark! Where are we going?"
"My house," he turned back to Haechan, smiling warmly at him and squeezing his hand a bit. He didn't see Haechan respond but he felt a soft and small squeeze on his hand in return, making his heart flutter.

The two sit in Mark's bedroom, perched on the edge of his bed. There was no awkwardness between them but somehow Mark still felt a bit nervous around him. Maybe it's because Haechan hasn't really been around Mark for a long time and he's scared he might mess things up again. But overall he just felt so relieved, and happy.
Mark looks over to Haechan who seems to be feeling nervous as well and pokes him on his arm, making him turn around.
When he turns around, Haechans' more worried expression seems to disappear until Haechan bursts into tears.
"Mark, I'm so sorry~~," he sobs, throwing himself around Mark. "I-, I-."
"It's okay Haechan," Mark comforts, holding him softly in his arms.
"I-, I need to explain something to you." Haechan calms himself down and sits up. "This may sound weird okay? But you have to believe me."
Mark's heart starts racing uncontrollably in his chest, what could Haechan even be confessing?
"I'll believe you, you can tell me anything," Mark holds onto one of Haechan's hands in the hopes of making Haechan feel more at ease.
Haechan grips back tighter. He struggles to even get the first sentence out but when he does, Mark doesn't really know what to say.
"I'm not a human. I'm a deity."
Mark's convinced Haechan's not telling the truth but, judging by his tone of voice and the way he looked at Mark waiting for a response, it would seem as if he is.
"Wait what?"
"I'm a deity. I came to Earth because I got a new role and I needed to research."
Mark doesn't know what to say so fills the silence with his laughter. What is Haechan on about?!
"Mark, I'm really serious. More serious than ever ever EVER! More serious than frogs. More serious than cows. More serious than-,"
Haechan continues making "more serious than" analogies while Mark thinks.
"Wait... you're actually serious right now?" Mark asked a puzzled expression pasted all over his face. He interrupted Haechan's "more serious than a truck" analogy.
"MARK!" Haechan got up and stood in front of him. "I am the most serious thing alive right now!"
Mark stared back at the very serious Haechan in front of him. "But, but-," Mark started but couldn't get any words out.
Haechan sits back down next to Mark and begins to explain things.
"Mark. I am a deity, my title is God of Light. I haven't been able to tell you because my peers will scold me, but my friend told me I can tell you, and I trust him a lot. So I'm telling you."
"Dude..." Mark scratched his head, "what are you on about!?" Mark laughed.
"Mark!" Haechan shouted. "You said you would believe me!!"
Mark couldn't help but laugh at Haechan. This kid was talking complete nonsense to him. "You're so cute Haechan," Mark giggled, appreciating his imagination.
"Ugh!" Haechan stood up out of frustration. He gripped onto Mark's shoulders and stared at him intensely. "You don't believe me?"
Mark shook his head, still smiling at him.
"Fine, I'll just prove it to you."
Haechan grabbed hold of Mark's cheeks and stared at his eyes, waiting for Mark to look back at him. The second Mark's eyes locked his, Haechans eyes turned ghostly white and began to glow brightly. They stared into Mark's now wide doe eyes, making sure he fully sees what's happening.
"LOOK MARK IT'S LIKE BEFORE WHEN THEY GLOWED. REMEMBER? IN THE CAVE?! I CAN DO THIS COZ IM GOD OF LIGHT!"
Haechan shouted but Mark couldn't really pay attention, his voice sounded muffled to him.
Oh no, Mark thought, feeling himself get lightheaded and the room beginning to turn black.
"Ah! Mark! Mark!" he heard Haechan call to him but his voice was very muffled now. He felt himself go limp and his eyes roll back into his head as he falls back onto his bed, passing out.

~ hi! so this chapter is actually in 2 parts because it was getting a bit long lol. in the next part Haechan will explain more to Mark and hopefully Mark will believe him because he seems very serious!!!!
~ mark is still scared of his eyes tho aw.
~ this story was actually first written because i loved Haechans life and wanted to explain more about Haechan and the deity world. but i'm finding it a little bit difficult to try and explain it while still making the story markhyuck themed. I feel like sometimes I just wanna explain what goes on in Haechans world but then it won't really be a markhyuck fic anymore coz they're hardly together lol.
~ after the story ends i may add some random chapters about Haechans life back where he's from
~ anyways,, thank you for reading!!! have this picture of Taehyun from TXT :)))
