Donghyuck rubs his eyes as he wakes up. He turns to the right of him, expecting to see Mark, but instead sees Jaemin smiling at him.

Donghyuck's eyes widen as he jumps up and throws his arms around Jaemin, engulfing him in a much-needed hug.

"It's nice to see you too, Donghyuck," said Jaemin, hugging Donghyuck back just as hard.

"Jaemin~~. I missed you so much~."

"I know," he laughs, "I missed you a lot too. It's been weird not having you here."

The two separate from their hug.

"Is it just a report this time?" asks Jaemin. The two of them sit down on the edge of Hyuck's bed.

"Mhmm, then my trip is meant to end in 3 months."

"Really?" Jaemin said excitedly. "You'll be here all the time after that?"

"Well..." Donghyuck starts, "I was actually gonna ask for an extension on my trip."

"Oh," Jaemin said disappointedly. "So you won't be back for a little while then?"

Donghyuck shook his head.

"I'll really miss you when you go back Donghyuck. You're my other half! You're the light, I'm the darkness. Without you, there's only darkness up here!"

Donghyuck felt his heart sink hearing Jaemin's words. If this was a couple of years ago he would've been over the moon, but today he just couldn't be. He felt guilty for wanting to stay on Earth a bit longer and leave Jaemin by himself. Jaemin used to hate Hyuck, he sort of assumed he still did a little bit, but it's clear he doesn't. And that made him sad.

"I'm sorry Jaemin," Hyuck said sadly, "I'll be back for good soon. I promise."

Jaemin cheered up. He then checked the time and realised it was time for Hyuck to meet with the Firsts.

"Come on, I'll walk you there," Jaemin smiled, "I'm scared you'll lose yourself in the hallways."

"I still remember the way," Hyuck smiled back. "But thanks."

As the two walk the halls towards the main First room, someone calls Donghyuck from behind, making them both turn around.

"Kun," Jaemin bows respectfully, "it's nice to have you back again, sir."

Kun bows to Jaemin. "I'll walk him, Jaemin. The Firsts wanted a Second to take him."

Jaemin nods his head. "Understood, sir. See you later, Donghyuck," Jaemin bows to Kun and leaves.

When Hyuck is with Kun alone, the two talk.

"Donghyuck, do you remember what I said? Don't bring him up once, got it?"

"Ok... I won't," Donghyuck sulked. He didn't know if he meant Taeil, Kun, or Mark, so he just decided to not bring up any of them.

As they get to the doors a familiar Second is waiting there, smirking at the both of them.

"Donghyuck, I'm surprised you haven't screwed up yet," says Doyoung.

"I've been trying really hard, Doyoung."

"And I see you've brought the hippie back with you." Doyoung laughed. "Pity, we don't need him here at all!"

"And you think they need you here? You just kiss their ass all damn day. You're just a good-for-nothing suck up." Kun responded.

"Shh," Doyoung smirked, "Be careful Kun, they're just behind this door. You wouldn't want them to hear you, would you?"
