Haechan woke up in a daze, in a place he didn't remember falling asleep in. When his eyes finally adjusted he recognised a friend staring at him from across the room.

Haechan's eyes widened as he noticed him. He rubbed his eyes twice and shook his head making sure he was seeing clearly.

"Jaemin?"

"Hi, Donghyuck, welcome home," Jaemin said with a smile.

Donghyuck jumped up to greet his friend. "JAEMIN!!! I've missed you soo muchhh~~," he whined, engulfing Jaemin in a hug.

"I missed you too. It's been really quiet without you here."

Donghyuck smiled at Jaemin before 2 figures knocked on the door, making them both turn their heads.

"Donghyuck! How was your trip?"

"JUNGWOO! SICHENG!!" Donghyuck ran up to the two and gave a double hug. Sicheng made an annoyed face but he secretly liked it. "I never got to say goodbye to you guys last time."

The four of them sat down in the room together, eager to know what Donghyuck's trip was like.

"Guys it's so cool!!! It's like here but 100X more fun! They have this thing called a party and-,"

"Donghyuck, we know what a party is," said Sicheng to Donghyuck.

"You do??"

"Yes!" the three said in unison.

"Well, how do you know that then....?"

"It's common knowledge," started Jaemin, "you were the only one here who knew hardly anything about Earth."

"Really??? I was the only one???" Donghyuck looks at the three who all nod at him.

"Oh, well it was fun anyway! And I made so many cool friends. Like Johnny, and Jaehyun, and Mark!!"

Donghyuck begins to tell them all about Mark, describing his personality, his looks, and all the fun adventures they've had together.

"He doesn't sound like just a friend to me," said Jungwoo, smirking at the others.

"Hmm?? What do you mean?"

"Donghyuck, remember what you're there for, will you?" said Jaemin.

"and remember the rules..." said Sicheng, looking at the others.

"Oh," Donghyuck understood what they were on about, "no, I don't think of Mark like that... and I'm not gonna tell him about this version of me either, come on, they'd have my head if I broke the rules."

"Hyuck, I worry about you," said Jaemin, "you remember what happened with Taeil, yet you want to get so close to breaking one of the only rules you have to follow!?"

"I'm not breaking it!"

"Donghyuck, First Class want to see you," said a figure at the door.

"Oh okay, Doyoung. I'll see you guys soon yeah?" Donghyuck smiled and waved to the three at the table.

"Hanging with all the Third's are you Donghyuck? I thought you were a Second Class now," Doyoung said as Donghyuck left the room, walking with him to his destination.

"Well, I am but I've still got my Third body, not like your cool Second one..."

Donghyuck marveled at Doyoung's stature as they walked. Third Classers are always smaller than those in the Second Class, and those in the First are larger than them all. It was a way to show power over the others; whoever is tallest is, therefore, most powerful.

Donghyuck wondered why they had brought him back; he was sure that he still had a lot of time left to research.

Doyoung walked Donghyuck to the magnificent doors of the First Class and wished him luck as he got called in. The doors open and Donghyuck walks in, noticing only 3 of the Firsts sitting there.

He bows at 90 degrees to greet them.

"Hello Donghyuck, how has your expedition been?"

"It's been cool, I'm learning a lot about them."

"Oh, you are? Well, that's great news then." The beings exchanged looks before continuing. "But have you forgotten all your manners when you left!?!" The being in the middle stood up, towering over Donghyuck.

"I'm v-very sorry sir, it won't happen again," Donghyuck bowed again, hoping he won't be scolded this time.

"Do you even know why you're there?! Or are you just stupid!?"

Stupid... I hate when they call me that.

"Y-Yes I do sir."

"Really, well then tell me the reason you're there."

"To learn more about them to better understand my new role, sir."

"And so... if you know why you're there, and you're sure you're doing a fine job at it, then what's the reason I've called you here today?"

"I, I don't know sir," Donghyuck lowered his head.

"Stand up straight!" Donghyuck shot up, standing as tall as he could. "Since you think you're so clever, recite the rules to us."

Donghyuck took a deep breath in, trying to remember the rules.

"Now! You don't want to end up like Moon Taeil do you?" the being taunted.

"No sir. The rules are 1. No creating or destroying. 2. No revealing yourself. and 3. No falling in love."

"Very good... I guess you're not as stupid as I thought. Well then, now we've gone over this, I don't want to call you back here until your expedition is complete, got it?"

"Yes sir, thank you, sir."

"I'll send you back soon. You can leave now."

"Thank you, sir," Donghyuck bowed and walked out of the room.

As he was walking away, Donghyuck still felt a bit confused.

So they called me in just to recite the rules? Do they think I'll break them? I won't. I'll show them. I won't break them like Moon Taeil did.

Donghyuck thought about Mark for a brief moment and got overwhelmed with sadness.

I'm sorry Mark, I can't ever tell you who I am. And I do like you lots but, I can't ever call it "love". Unless you don't want to see me again.

Donghyuck started to cry thinking about having to lie to his friend.

I'm sorry Mark, I'm so sorry. I was going to tell you. I don't know how they knew. Or if they even know. But I'm so sorry.
