Lea's panic attack and the girls' dream

Nathan’s POV

I stroked Lea’s hair over and over again while letting the boys and the rest of the girls stare at me. Since we found out about her having a panic attack – we rushed to the hospital as fast as we can. She had a lot of panic attacks – she also had a panic attack when she found out Hanna was stabbed and nearly died. She had three previous panic attacks.

“Nate, c’mon – we need to leave her for a minute. She’ll be fine – don’t worry”

Paige pulled my arm carefully all the way outside.

“You’re okay, right?”

“Yeah”

I was younger than Paige – she was like my older sister. Mostly – Siva and Paige were both close – she was close to Siva and Nareesha. Paige was only twenty but she looked younger. Jay bumped my shoulder purposely while holding Thalia’s hand.

“Baby brother – stop worrying. Lea’s gonna be fine”

We were sitting around the cafeteria table while the boys were having a talk about the tour that was tonight. I looked at my watch and back at them.

“Err guys – we have rehearsal”

Tom stood up and wiped his mouth with the napkin.

“Girls – I’ll leave you to watch Lea. We’ll be back after the tour”

Lea’s POV

My head was aching and my vision was spinning as I opened my eyes and saw Thalia, Paige and Caylah on the other side of the room. Paige gave me a smile and looked at the time.

“The boys are rehearsing for their tour tonight – they’ve been working really hard for this one”

“I know. I’ve heard of that from Nathan before we went to Abbeydale”

Thalia and Caylah sat down on the stools beside my bed.

“Lea – have you ever wished they’ll perform someday in Madison Square Gardens? Or maybe they’ll sell out the tickets there?”

Caylah had a point – but I was also wishing for that every 11:11 in the evening, I make a wish that maybe they’ll have that dream fulfilled. It would’ve been that amazing seeing them perform on that stage with the auditorium full of screaming fans and banners raised saying things like:

‘I Love You THE WANTED’

‘Marry Me’

‘The WANTED – WE’LL STAY GOLD FOREVER’

And things like this and that.

Every fan understands that – Justin Bieber performed there – Michael Jackson performed there. I don’t know if Cody Simpson will – but they got a lot of fans around the world and in USA that they might even sell out all the tickets in under a day.

We stared at each other for a long time until the doctor went in making all of them go out my room.

I was sitting backstage talking to the girls. 

Caylah was sitting on the other end of the couch reading the magazine on the coffee table. There was this look of her eyes plastered on her. When Caylah has that look – it means someone told her a secret that is hard to keep. 

We all looked at each other and gave each other a nod.

“Temptation till spill”

We raced each other towards her and surrounded Caylah while giving her glares. Kelsey gave me another small nod before sitting down beside her.

“Caylah – did you know about Max’s party that he’s throwing for somebody else?”

There was a calm look on her eyes and her face was colored a light shade of red which meant that she was slight mad.

“No. Who is he throwing it for?”

I shook my head and looked at Thalia and Paige.

“Not until you tell us what the boys told you”

Her eyes widen.

“I’ll tell the rest of you but not Lea”

“This is about me, is it?”

She nodded before pulling the girls in Max’s dressing room.

I wonder what the boys told her. Screams and laughter filled Max’s dressing room – I looked at the entrance awkwardly and went back to the magazine.

They went out the door with their mouths covered with their hands.

“What did Caylah tell you?”

“No one can tell you”

Kelsey squealed while jumping up and down. The boys ran inside and Nathan crashed on the couch beside me.

“That concert was awesome”

Until now I’m still wondering about what the girls talked about without me in it. Nathan and I were in his room having a private talk. I just found out for the past three weeks we’ll be staying here in Abbeydale. But it was great that I was gonna spend my last weeks in my birthplace before leaving for college.

Tears were again streaming down my face – I didn’t know what’s going on with me but it was tragic. Nathan raised my head and looked at me.

“What’s the matter?”

I shook my head and found the thought why I was crying. 

“Can we go to the graveyard here?”

His eyes widen – until he gave me a nod. I grabbed my jacket and walked out his room.

*At the graveyard*

Graves were everywhere – it was freaking me out but there was someone I wanted to see. I took out the bouquet of flowers and placed them on my mother’s grave. Hanna must’ve always visited this before she found out our dad was alive. The tombstone was clean and when I arrived here there were dried flowers.

Nathan kissed the top of my head and wiped off the tears on my face.

“It’s okay – don’t cry”

I looked at her name and the date she died – even the day she was born. Mostly – what I couldn’t accept was that she died at the eve of my eighth birthday.

“April 23, 2001?”

I nodded and looked at him.

“That’s the eve of your birthday. What happened to her?”

“She was murdered mysteriously, until now the crime has been unsolved”

“They’re just a bunch of delinquents – forget about them”

“Did she do anything to deserve this?”
