Lea’s POV

Nathan’s phone rang from the nightstand. Yeah – it’s weird that I fell asleep in the guesthouse than actually my own room. Thalia and Jay were both cuddling on each other on the bed by the window. He answered the call and stood up. I walked towards the window and held his hand. He put his phone back on the nightstand and walked towards the bathroom door. I walked out the guesthouse and into the bathroom to do the usual morning routine.

I was sitting on the couch reading the latest issue of ‘We Love Pop’ magazine. Nathan sat down beside me putting his arm around my shoulder.

“Who were you on the phone with?”

He turned to me and stood up.

“Jessica – she said she was coming over later after lunch”

“Are you serious?”

The living was filled with silence. Well – the boys weren’t up yet, that was a good reason. But I kind’a miss the noise. Sure – it would ne a bit mind-racking but it was the real them.

“That’s like eight hours away, and I’m having a photo shoot later”

I stood up in front of him and smiled.

“What time are you leaving?”

“About five, I’m coming back at noon. But if my manager replaced me with Kirsten, I think I’m over with modeling”

“Does it have to be that way?”

I nodded and walked to my room. Yes – I was going to London after a week to sign up for a new modeling company. There were more things I was gonna work on for the last month of summer. It was pressuring but that really did help me; I was a scholar in RADA, but with Tom’s decisions – It was in need of changes.

Yeah – I know too, I should just move in my father’s place than staying wit him. Also - how if he disagrees with me modeling? How if he doesn’t even like Nathan?

There were more questions running in my head but I didn’t wanna tell Nathan. We needed to take away the drama for this relationship.

Let me just face it – If I’m in college and he’s touring around USA, we might even start losing our feelings for each other. Stop it Lea – stop thinking about that. He’ll never lose his love for you.

I grabbed my clothes from my closet and walked in the bathroom. Sure enough – there was in need of changes in that modeling company. It’s been a long time since they have found a new model. And I’m already thinking of resigning, also I’m thinking of quitting it too. I walked out the shower after ten minutes and put on my clothes. Nathan went inside and sat down on the bed beside me while I was brushing my hair.

“It’s a quarter before five, isn’t it a half-hour drive all the way to the company?”

“Nate, P.S I don’t model for Hollister”

He laughed and crashed on the bed. His phone vibrated from the nightstand, appearing a new message from Jessica.

“She said: Is your girlfriend even awake when I arrive?”

I picked out a purse from my closet and went out the door. He ran towards me and smiled.

“No goodbye-kiss?”

“Not this time Nathan”

The room was quiet for a minute until I heard snaps and saw some flashes going out the small gap on the door. I entered it and saw my manager hosting Kirsten’s poses.

“Oh. Okay – I knew you were gonna replace me, but I’m not gonna have some trouble getting over that”

My manager stood up and approached me.

“Wait a minute Lea – Kirsten’s just the floor model. You’re the main”

“I don’t think you’re using me for this – you’re using me to raise money and there is no way I’m working for someone just for money”

I pulled my arm from him and walked out the door. There were more things that I can do so I can wait for Jessica’s flight to land. My phone vibrated from my pocket while I was waiting for the elevator to stop. I took it out and read through Nathan’s text:

Nate: How’s the photo shoot going?

Well – he needs to know right? I can’t just keep this thing anonymous.

Nate: I was replaced – let’s not get over it; it’s no big deal

I put my phone back in my pocket and went out the building.

Jay was waiting in the doorway posing every fifteen seconds. I poked his back and ran inside.

“I saw what you did Lea”

“Who cares?”

Nathan approached me and looked at his watch.

“You’re right on time – its noon”

I pecked his lips lightly before running to my room

The pressure was already going away. I was gonna meet Jessica; it’s been three years since I saw that cute little blondie. Well – now he’s already sixteen. The age I lost the name Ellie and was turned to Lea Parker.

Someone knocked on the door flashing me back to reality.

“It’s Jessica”

Nathan opened the door letting a girl with blonde hair, pinkish lips and whiter skin tone. He bags were being dragged in by a man – she was only holding her purse and phone. She was wearing some sunglasses and a hairband over her head.

“Hi Nathan, hi boys – So, where’s my future sister-in-law?”

“This is your ‘future-sister-in-law’”

I gave her a small wave – she took off her sunglasses and looked at me wide-eyed.

“Oh my God, Nathan did you realize she’s Ellie Collins”

They all nodded and turned towards me.

“I knew I had the feeling we’ll be meeting again”

“I do too Jess”

So – there we have it. Jessica was back and Nathan was again messing with her. She used to be the one I spend most of the time with three years ago when she was thirteen.

“So – Lea, where are we heading? I mean – mum just sent me in here to visit my brother but I’m in the mood to go out with you till the end of summer”

“It’s in four weeks Jessica, there’s no way we can hang out in that short time”

“Lea – anything is possible when you believe”

Nathan gave me a small nod before crashing on the couch and putting his phone over his ear and letting out a few weird words.
