"Spend time with the One Direction boys"

Lea’s POV

The boys were having an interview while I was sitting backstage watching the 1D boys rehearse. They were gonna perform after the boys’ interview.

“Alright – let’s have a break”

I pulled Zayn’s arm after hearing Louis say those words.

“Zayn, did you remember what happened last night?”

He nodded and looked at me sadly.

“Can we just get over that? Perrie got mad when Louis said what happened and now she doesn’t even wanna talk to me”

“Okay – we’ll move on. Even when Liam actually called Nathan and told him what happened. I got a life lesson”

“Zayn, we’re on”

He ran out the dressing room before Nathan ran inside and putting his hand around my waist.

“Why are you still with him? Look he’s already in a relationship with Perrie Edwards okay?”

I smacked the back of his head and looked at him annoyingly.

“I’m in a relationship with my best friend”

Nathan crashed on the couch and let go of his phone letting it crash on the floor.

“My God – I only have two days left before I leave for college”

I sat down beside Nathan and rested my head on his shoulder.

“Doesn’t school year starts at the thirteenth of September?”

“Oh my God – you’re right. I memorized the day in RADA – thanks for reminding me Nathan”

He kissed the top of my head and sat me down on his lap.

“Don’t you think it’s a bit awkward on getting involved with Zayn Malik?”

I lifted my head and rested it on his chest.

“I do think it’s a bit awkward – I mean Liam told you the whole story about what happened to us in Sylvia Young’s when we were in that closet”

“Yeah”

He looked down at the ground and let go of my hand.

“Lea – we’re gonna have another tour – we’ll be back in five days”

“That’s not fair – I only have a few days to spend with you. Why would they do this?”

“Maybe you should spend time with the One Direction boys”

I bit my bottom lip and stood up from his lap before running to my room.

Nathan pecked my lips before leaving me with five boys I just met the past night. Tom pulled his arm and forced him inside the van. I closed the door while dragging my bag. Liam gave me a strange look and smiled.

“Stop giving me strange looks”

I walked to the guestroom and crashed my bag on the couch before crashing myself on the bed. Paige and Caylah already left for college a day ago. There was a question forming in my head; why would Nathan make me spend time with these boys?

Harry went inside holding a plate with a taco in the middle.

“What do you want now curly?”

“Nothing – just wanted to talk to you”

I sat up on my bed while he sat down beside me. He handed me the phone and put it on loud speaker.

“I recorded that the other night when you went home with Nathan – he had a private talk with us for a while”

My chest was tightening – I had trouble breathing while he pressed play letting out these words:

“I’m trying to think about it – we are going on tour the next two days. I want all of you to take care of her while I’m gone and I think I’m gonna have to let her go. Promise that you’ll take care of her – if I can’t do it without her please explain to Lea what I said. So – if we ever did break up she can forgive me when I’m going back with her”

He stopped the player on his phone and enveloped me in a hug. Tears were beaming down my face. He rubbed my back lightly.

“You’re telling Nathan that we explained to you everything?”

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and dialed his number. There was nothing but voicemail. I left a message about understanding what he was explaining to the boys and suddenly hung up.

“I also broke up with him”

His eyes widen while staring at me.

“Lei – have you gone mad?”

I sat down beside Zayn on the dinner table; he was stroking his food with his fork while glancing at me every fifteen seconds. Niall looked at him and put his phone down on the table.

“Zayn, what’s wrong?”

He shook his head and walked out the dining room.

“I’ll go talk to him”

Liam stood up from his seat and walked in the living room leaving me with Louis, Niall and Harry.

“I know the reason why he’s like that”

We all looked at Niall and sat down beside him.

“Perrie broke up with him”

Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik are already over. I stood up from my seat and walked to the guesthouse before slamming the door shut, locking it and sitting on the corner, sobbing. My tears were stinging my skin. The boys pounded on my door almost breaking it. I laid flat on the floor with my legs stretched out on the wall and closed my eyes.

*Evening*

I opened my eyes and looked out the window. It was already night time. I slid in the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. My face wet with tears – my hair was dripping with sweat. I took a shower while crying. I went out the bathroom, changed into my pajamas and crashed on my bed.

Tears continued beaming down on my face and landing on my pillow; there was nothing else in my head than Nathan. I couldn’t believe I was this depressed.

I had nightmares and dreams about Nathan. Sometimes in my anger I would have nightmares and I would scream in my sleep. It was stupid but there was like something went wrong.

“Where’s Nathan when you need him?”
