Lea’s POV

My dad was giving me a tour around the mansion in Bolton. The clean and cool color of blue was painted on the walls. I unplugged my earphones and crashed on my bed.

“Do you like it?”

“Yeah – it’s much better than…”

He looked at me and smiled.

“Forget about it”

“Okay – I’ll leave you alone – just call our maids or anyone if you need anything”

A piece of paper was on the floor – which I think my father noticed because he just picked it up.

“Is this yours?”

“Yeah”

He unfolded it and gave me a look.

“You don’t know this – it’s in style right now. Here I’ll show you how to solve it. Can I borrow a pencil?”

I handed him a pencil and looked at the equation that Nathan gave me. He shaded half part of it showing the three words:

‘I Love You’

My eyes were tearing up until tears stormed down my face. Since we were sixteen he has always been saying this to me.

“Who gave this to you?”

I remained silent and wiped off my tears.

“My ex-boyfriend – he gave that to me when we were still sixteen before I was sent away…”

“Sent away? What do you mean sent away?”

“Caroline sent me away because she caught me with him – we were best friends but I was forbidden to see him and she told me if I was ever spotted with him again she’ll send me away. And just yesterday she attacked me”

“Well you’re safe now – she can’t hurt you anymore”

I stroked my hair for the fourth time still not touching my food but stroking it with my fork. Des was just looking at me worriedly.

“Aren’t you gonna eat, Lea?”

“I’m not hungry”

I took my plate to the maid’s room and handed it to her. I walked back to my own and opened my photo album which was full of photos of Jessica, Siva, Max, Cheryl, Jay, Caylah, Paige, Thalia, Nathan, Tom, Kelsey and Nareesha. Des went inside with nothing but bile on his face.

“Why do you look so bitter? Did I do something wrong?”

“Nothing – I’m just worried about you. What or who are you so depressed about?”

I shook my head and looked back at the album.

“C’mon – you can tell me”

“Alright – I’m depressed about Nathan – we’ve been together since I was nine years old and we were torn apart at sixteen and now it happened again”

“You know you can still see him and be with him”

Hanna’s POV

I entered the house to find Caylah and Paige sitting on the couch. They gave me a smile and put the magazine down on the coffee table.

“Where’s dad?”

They pointed upstairs into the empty room.

“Why is he there?”

Caylah shrugged and went back to her magazine. I went up the stairs and into the room to find Lea sitting on the bed beside my dad.

“Lea – you’re back”

They both turned towards me and smiled.

“I knew someday you’ll go back home”

“The boys sent me home”

I approached her and sat down on the space beside my dad.

“I’ll leave you two alone”

Lea gave me a warm smile with tears forming in her eyes. There was something wrong – sure, I haven’t spent much time with her since she met Nathan. Before we were really close now we ignore each other – this might be the last time I’ll see her before she’s gonna leave for college in two and a half weeks.

“How are you and Nathan?”

“Dad said: I needed to talk to him tomorrow so we can talk about our relationship and if we talk through it maybe we can go back together”

“Please – why are you gonna go back to him? He’s nothing to you”

Nathan’s POV

I locked the door in my suite and crashed on the bed. The whole band was supposed to be eating outside right now but I didn’t wanna go anywhere. We were back in America. Yes – we are supposed to be in Abbeydale today but it was our manager’s decision. Even this ‘we’ll-go-out-for-dinner’ thing is also his idea but again I disagreed.

It was a bit jaded being outside and being chased my paparazzi at the same time.

There was a loud pounding sound on my door and yells from the other side.

“Nathan, hey aren’t you coming?”

I just ignored it and took out my phone to look at mine and Lea’s photos. The phone vibrated in my hand. I took it out and saw an incoming call from Lea. I pressed reject and put it back in my bag.

Tom stormed in my suite with a dangling key on his hand.

“Never leave your key in the lobby”

He tossed me the key and went outside. I locked the door again hearing another pounding on the door.

“Nathan – open this door. Darn how can I be so stupid? Nathan”

I unlocked the door and looked at him.

“Stop pounding on my door and stop disturbing me. Just go ahead and go without me”

“Still depressed about Lea?”

“How’d you know?”

“By the look in your eyes”

He turned around and walked down the stairs leaving a crumpled piece of paper on the floor.
