You don't have to cry

Lea’s POV

Nathan was sitting on the couch beside me; it was their last day before they leave for another tour in USA. I couldn’t understand why they had to do this. Nareesha and Kelsey already left, I had to be left-alone when they had leave for a month. And after a month they’re gonna stay in Jay’s place for a while.

“Nate, c’mon you need to go to sleep. The flights at six in the morning”

I stood up from his lap and stormed to my room while bursting into tears. I crashed on my bed crying my eyes out. Why did they even have to leave in the first place? Why is their break that short? Tom entered my room and sat down beside me on the bed.

“Ley, are you alright?”

“Does it look like I am?”

He tucked a lose strand of my hair behind my ear and stood up. It would always be that annoying when he leaves; also I had modeling tomorrow at five o’clock in the morning. So, I would leave earlier than them.

Nathan went in my room; his eyes were red and puffy.

“Have you been crying as well?”

“Tom, can you leave me and Lea alone?”

Tom nodded and went out my room. They must’ve forgotten about the house rules while staying here. Number two was – no alone time with my sister. It was a good thing for me that he had forgotten about it.

“What did you want for an alone time?”

“About our friendship back then; we both had to keep away the drama from this relationship if we want it to last. Remember when we were twelve was it? Caroline forbade me from seeing you and you actually felt sick. Even when you had bulimia when we were eleven”

“There’s only one way we could keep this relationship and it’s staying together, not breaking the contact. Tours, tapings, and time apart tear a relationship. It’s not the drama but the distance. So, if you want this relationship to last we stay longer together”

“I know that, too, that’s what caused Max and Michelle’s breakup”

A note was left on my palm, the boys’ names were written on it. They left before I even woke up; I didn’t read the note but threw it out the window. Bags were sitting at the corner of the doorway. Some of my clothes were folded and on the bottom of my bed. And there hanging on a picture frame was a note tied in a piece of yarn. I took the paper and read the note:

‘Ley, you saw the bags and your clothes prepared. You know what to do”

My eyes widen, I grabbed my clothes and scanned them for a minute. They prepared my white button down blouse, black skinny jeans, and my shades. A pair of my red boots was sitting beside my shoe closet.

*At the airport*

The six of us were being followed by paparazzi while waiting for our flight to actually come. I kept my head down while wearing my sunglasses and listening to ‘The Script’. Tom kept judging me that I was like Selena Gomez, I keep my head down and I listen to music while we all go out so I wouldn’t hear any questions. Nathan held my hand and put his one hand around my waist. I bumped into someone making the earphone on one of my ears plug off.

“Oh. I’m really sorry; I didn’t mean to hit you”

“No it’s okay, don’t worry love”

I lifted my head up to look at the girl I bumped in to.

“Thalia”

“Ellie”

“It’s Lea now”

Four of the boys looked at the three of us awkwardly, well Nathan knows her, too. It wouldn’t be hard introducing her.

“Let me guess, your mum moved here in Bolton?”

She shook her head and picked up my sunglasses from the floor.

“No. I moved in with my boyfriend. He decided to move here”

“That was a great choice. Well, we better go. The flights leaving in five minutes”

She enveloped me in another hug before walking back to a guy that was wearing a leather jacket, blue pants and white high-cuts.

*In USA*

So, there was an incident at the airport. First, I found Nathan, then Paige and Caylah now it’s Thalia. All I need to see now is Melody. Which I think is in USA, too. It was a bit funny while I’m here in USA with my famous brother and my step-family actually spending time in Bolton. We were skateboarding around the beach, Tom and Max seem to have enjoyed it, Siva and Jay were racing each other with roller-skates.

We sat down on the sand while listening to Jay and Siva having a playful argument about who was the one who got to the end of the pier first. It was kind’a funny watching two giants argue about something so small. I stood up and put on my sunglasses.

“Where are you going young lady?”

Tom stood up and approached me.

“Buying something I might be entertained in than listening to Siva and Jay. Maybe a smoothie or so”

“Okay, just come back here after fifteen minutes”

“I will”

I plugged in my earphones and listened to ‘For the First Time’, The Wanted’s cover. Paparazzi followed me while I was just scrolling at the songs in my iPod. I went in the café still scanning my songs on my iPod. I sat down on a stool by the counter and ordered a coffee. A girl with brown ringlets sat down beside me and took out her wallet.

“It doesn’t feel really amazing being followed and asked questions by the paparazzi is it?”

“I’m sorry, are you talking to me?”

She took off her sunglasses revealing her brown eyes that looked so familiar to me.

“Melody”

“Hi Ellie, I thought you wouldn’t actually remember me anymore”

“Are you kidding me? I missed you”

The lady handed down our orders; we both stood up and went out the coffee bar. I sat down on a bench beside her and put back on my sunglasses.

“How did you know how it feels being chased my paparazzi everywhere you go?”

“I’m an actress, what about you?”

“Oh you wouldn’t believe it. When Caroline found where me and Nate were hiding I was sent to Bolton where I was adopted by Tom Parker, and now I’m dating Nathan”

She put down her coffee and gave me a smile.

“I knew it; I knew the two of you were destined together. You’re gonna end up getting married and…”

“Then divorced”

She gave me a worried look and stood up. I took her hand and walked back to our spot.
