There's a reason to be back

Lea’s POV

I roamed around the beach enjoying the sunset of Abbeydale. We are back in Abbeydale – Des is making a deal for the property he left behind without signing any papers if it was okay to sell it or not. Which makes me felt like I was just sixteen again but there was a lot of drama while we were in our sixteen. I took out my compact mirror and my contacts. Alright – it’s creepy I know. But I wanted to hide for a minute. I put on my blonde wig with blue and pink strips.

“Beautiful, isn’t it? I grew up enjoying this sight with a friend of mine”

I turned around and saw Nathan. His trousers were folded to the top of the knee and his sleeves were too folded.

“I’m Nathan by the way, you are? Well if you were like my friend that doesn’t want to tell me her name, it’s alright”

Yeah – it’s true. I never told him my name until we’ve known each other for three days.

“It’s Isabelle”

“Nice to meet you Isabelle”

He walked towards me and held on my shoulder.

“May I?”

“Go on ahead”

He sat down beside me and looked at me making another eye-contact.

“Izzy – you kind of remind me of someone”

I gasped.

“Who do you remind me of?”

“My ex-girlfriend, the second one actually – you look just like her but she has blue eyes not green. Somehow until I can’t move on – she’s soon leaving for college. It’s hard to move on when you love someone that much”

“Tell me about it”

There was a warm smile plastered on his face. I could hear him breathing. The small splashes on the water reminded me of our childhood so much.

“What happened to you and L- I mean your girlfriend?”

He let out a sharp breath.

“She was attacked by her step-mother and we needed to find a way to make her safe. But we had no choice but to send her away to her father”

“Nate”

His eyes fixed on mine, again.

“Yeah”

“I have something to show you, c’mon”

Nathan’s POV

Isabelle pulled off her jacket showing a birthmark shaped like a dagger with vines and thorns was on her shoulder. Is she also a Collins? She jumped in the water while I was still scanning her birthmark. A wig floated on the water. It was blonde with blue and pink stripes. It was like – wait a minute – it was Isabelle hair or was it Lea’s wig.

Hanna approached me and raised her eyebrow.

“Did you see Lea? Or did you drown her a minute ago?”

“A”

Lea rose up from the water her hair built up in front of her face.

“Lea – my God, what are you doing?”

Hanna raced after her and pulled her from the water.

“Nate – can we have a talk?”

She pulled me to the end of the beach her dripping hands was making my sleeves wet. We both sat down on the sand which was making it cake on her thighs. 

“What do you wanna talk about?”

“Remember when you arrive from Ribston Hall – we had a lot of fun at the summer until you were gonna ask me out but I said no. And the next day we had an accident which nearly killed Melody”

“Yeah”

“Well – when you asked me out I take everything I said all back. Since we actually broke up it was hard to move on. I couldn’t eat nor sleep. Maybe we can start over again”

“Lea – People always do crazy things when they’re in love. So – somehow before we did crazy things because we were in love. And yes – we can start over again”

So – here we are again. Back together. Des finally made the deal of not selling it but handing the house down to me and Hanna. Nathan told the boys that he was gonna stay with us for the last couple of weeks. Caylah and Paige were still raining the house with a mess. Nathan sat down beside me on the couch and wrapped his arm around my waist.

“Do you think it was alright for us to get back? I mean – don’t we keep making same mistakes again and again”

He looked at me with his cold eyes.

“It was alright – fans have been sending me tweets asking if our relationship was alright and most were asking if we were still together”

“Is it really? This is awkward – I haven’t received any hates since then”

“Awkward”

He sing-sang while standing up.

“It’s not awkward – it’s relieving”

Plates and glasses were crashing on the kitchen. We both ignored it and sat down on the loveseat. He pulled me to his lap and put his hand behind me.

“You’re leaving for college soon – what are we gonna do for these two weeks?”

I shrugged and rested my head on his chest.

“It would be annoying if you were gonna go to college while I’ll be on tour or we’ll be on an awards”

“Oh and by the way – Max’s birthday is coming up which is always the same date of the MTV Video Music Awards”

“Yeah – we know that but how did you know that?”

I raised my eyebrow and looked at him awkwardly.

“My former brother was a celebrity” 

A strange look was plastered on his face when I said ‘former brother’. Well – if he still can’t accept me being a former Parker. We have the same thought – I did missed being bossed around by Tom and I also missed the boys.

It would be a bit annoying when they make too much noise but someday you’ll miss them making those noises. 

Many fans told me I was lucky that I was spending time with the boys. Their siblings were telling me the same. Okay – I know I should meet their siblings especially Siva’s siblings which are hard to count. The eldest must have had less luck while she was taking care of them.
