Tom was still asleep and so were the boys. It was hard to wake them up; Siva has been shaking them for half an hour. Nathan stood up from the couch and walked to the kitchen, he got back holding a pan in one hand and a spoon on the other.

“You know what I’m up to”

Siva had a grin plastered on his face. He ran to the kitchen grabbing the same things as Nathan did. They both counted down from three and started making noises from the pans. Jay and Max stood up and looked at me.

“My God – Tom, wake up. We have rehearsal”

Jay looked at me strangely then turned into a frown. There was something wrong.

“Jay, are you alright?”

He shook his head and went to the balcony.

“I’ll go talk to him”

Siva ran after him and closed the door behind him. Max and Tom looked at me sadly. The two of us gave them an awkward look.

“Your sister has a boyfriend?”

“What? Hanna doesn’t have a boyfriend – she told me, I don’t know”

“She left a message on the phone saying that if Jay wanted to hang out with her and her boyfriend. Of course – you know that Jay likes Hanna”

“I know that he does - but I don’t know that she has a boyfriend. I’m having a long talk with her”

Nathan made a strange face and looked at me.

“Weren’t Jay and Hanna together while we were still back in Bolton? She cheated”

Jay went back inside and ran to the room.

“Ouch”

I was backstage worrying about Jay’s heartbreak. He wasn’t running around the stage as usual. The boys looked a lot more worried than I was. Really – I think I’m gonna have to go back to Bolton in the morning.

“This would be our last performance ‘Last to Know’”

They started singing while I was still a bit worried about Jay. Well, all of us were worried. It wasn’t just me. The song ended and the lights went out; the boys ran backstage and Nathan sat down beside me. Jay just sat down on the couch looking at his phone.

“Jay – I think you really need to move on. Somehow I found someone who’ll be perfect for you”

I gave Nathan a smile and he returned it.

“Who is it?”

“Thalia Myers”

The two of us answered in unison.

“Thalia is my best friend and I’m thinking maybe she’s perfect for you. Her boyfriend broke up with her after they moved in USA. She’s staying in with a friend but still needs her own place. Right now – Thalia is back in Bolton trying to find a job and an apartment she can live in”

*Back in Bolton*

My phone has been vibrating in my pocket since the flight started. Okay – I know we needed to turn off our phones while on the plane but I didn’t want just the sound of the people chattering about something but also music and the tapping on my phone. I took it out of my pocket and looked at the missed calls and messages. Well – the missed calls were fifteen of them from Melody and Thalia and the messages were only thirty, they were all from Logan.

Paige and Caylah were sitting at the waiting benches. Caylah’s blonde hair was tied in a neat bun and Paige’s brown locks were pulled back in a neat ponytail. They both were holding bags that looked like the bags Thalia were holding when I bumped into her back in L.A.

They both stood up and approached me.

“Where’s Thalia?”

“Oh. She’s in Starbucks; she said she couldn’t wait for more than fifteen minutes so we kept her entertained by sending her to the coffee bar”

Caylah gave me a smile before walking behind me and to one of the boys. This is odd – she couldn’t have liked one of the boys after looking at them for just one second. Paige pulled my arm and brought me closer to her.

“Okay, is Caylah flirting or is she just having fun?”

I shrugged and walked towards the coffee bar where Thalia was sitting at a booth talking to someone on the phone. Jay also had his ears glued on the phone also talking to someone.

“Nathan, did you give Jay Thalia’s number?”

He nodded and ran towards Tom. So, Nathan gave Jay Thalia’s number while I told him not to. I approached the booth and tapped her shoulder. She looked up at me and stood up.

“Who were you just talking to?”

“Jay – I don’t know he just called me and said he was also on the way to Bolton”

“Yeah, he’s my friend – that’s him”

I pointed towards Jay and faced her towards me.

“What do you think of him?”

“He’s hot”

Okay – so all we need to do now is to actually just make Thalia and Jay know each other that much and they’ll be perfect. But still, I can’t show up to Hanna in my dad’s house while he’s there. He might make me live with them and I wouldn’t be able to be with Nathan. Also, I’m already planning for college. I’m leaving next month, yes it’s August. Time goes by and you don’t even notice it; wow I’m saying the line from The Art of Getting By. You already know that movie, right?

But I’m not having trouble about Max and Caylah’s friendship. They both were really close; I mean since they met they’ve already been talking to each other so often and they both were inseparable. We all weren’t really that worried but this going-back-to-Bolton thing - wasn’t really the boys’ plan. They all were planning to go to Jay’s but we ended up going back to Bolton.

I sat down on the end of the sofa staring at the photo on my phone; the photo taken three years ago; back when Nathan and I were still in Abbeydale. Nathan sat down beside me and pulled me to his lap. We both looked towards the other end of the sofa where Jay and Thalia were sitting.

“What do you think they’re up to?”

I shrugged.

“Well – I’m think Jay made the move”

“Why would you say that?”

He pointed to the place where they were sitting to find Jay and Thalia having their foreheads sticking on each other. I bit my bottom lip and took out my phone. We snapped a picture of them and posted it on twitter:

@JayTheWanted and @ThaliaIsInHell looks like the new couple of the TW boys’ band #romance

We both laughed at the tweet and looked back at them finding them already having a first kiss.
