Lea’s POV
The six of us were sitting around a booth in a restaurant while Nathan was holding my hand under the table. He’s been glancing at me and Tom was just glaring at Nathan for the rest of the time we were eating.
“Hey. I’m getting more gas for the van. Lea, can you come with me?”
I took Nathan’s hand and walked out the restaurant. Tom still had his eyes glued at the two of us. Nathan held my hand tighter and walked out. I let go of his hand and looked closely at him.
“Nate, I feel awkward. I don’t know, maybe Tom found out about the two of us”
“He’s not. Now c’mon”
Tom’s POV
Okay, I might have lied to Lea about the ‘No-I-was-downstairs’ thing. Yes. I was eavesdropping. I couldn’t believe that those two are actually dating. You might think I’m a bit crazy about this over-protective-thing. But, mum told me not to let Lea have a boyfriend at this young age. She only didn’t want her to have an experience like mine.
The boys gave me an awkward look.
“What are the three of you looking at?”
Jay pretended that his napkin was blown by a random breeze but he just pushed it with his hand and walked to the bathroom. Siva and Max did the same leaving me all by myself. Those boys must’ve known about their hidden relationship. I’m gonna have a long talk with all of them.
I stroked my hair several times and took out my phone. I called Kelsey; she picked up after her phone rang two times.
“Hey Tom”
“Kelsey, do you know about this Lea-and-Nathan-thing?”
“What Lea-and-Nathan-thing? Okay, we’re gonna talk later; I’m on my way to your house. So, I’m gonna have to hung up cause I’m driving right now. I’ll see you later”
She hung up before saying anything. The three boys went out the bathroom, I looked at all of them and Jay again pushed the napkin with his hand.
“Oh look. A random breeze has blown my napkin. I’m certainly gonna pick it up now”
I raised my eyebrow and Nathan went in the restaurant with Lea behind him.
“We are talking”
I whispered to him.
Lea’s POV
How would you feel if your brother is actually talking to you boyfriend all on his own about another life-lesson? Well, I actually feel uncomfortable. Siva and Max were sitting in my room, I felt like I was just in the past. I felt like Caylah and Paige were actually here. Jay went out for some coffee all on his own. I feel like he’s gonna meet someone that’s gonna change him. I went downstairs and sat down on the couch which was the first one that you can see when you get in the house. Jay burst in the door looking all in-love.
“Hi”
He greeted in a voice which meant he was in love.
“Okay, who’s the girl?”
Siva and Max went downstairs and sat him down on the couch.
“I don’t know her name but… Damn, she was gorgeous”
“What did she look like?”
Jay took out his phone from his pocket and showed us the photo of a girl that was a bit familiar. She looked kind’a like – Hanna.
“That girl’s my sister. Where did you meet her?”
I grabbed my jacket and walked towards the door.
“I saw her in Starbucks but she said she works as a choreographer in a studio”
“What studio?”
He shrugged and went to the guesthouse where Nathan and Tom had a private talk about something.
Kelsey was sitting beside me on the couch while we both were waiting for Nathan and Tom to get out the guesthouse. Tom went out and approached Kelsey. He pecked his lips and sat down beside her. I walked towards Nathan and whispered something in his ear.
“What did the two of you talked about?”
They looked at each other and nodded. This is a bit freaky.
“Relationship accepted”
Kelsey gave them an awkward look and stood up.
“What are the two of you talking about?”
“Nathan and Eleanor here are in a relationship and they’ve been hiding it from me but this is where it all came out. But I accepted it as long as he doesn’t fall for anyone else”
Nathan put his hands up in surrender and sat me down on his lap. The telephone rang from the kitchen. I looked at Tom and ran to the kitchen; this was our routine when someone was calling. We race each other to who gets to answer the phone. I picked up the phone and put it towards my ear.
“Hello, Parker residence. This is Lea speaking, who are you looking for?”
“Oh. Well, I must’ve dialed the wrong number. I’m looking for Jay McGuiness; he gave me his number but didn’t even give me the address I was supposed to go to. Do you know him?”
“Yeah, he’s my friend. Give me a minute”
I yelled out Jay’s name and told him someone was looking for him on the phone. He grabbed the phone from me and recited our address. This was gonna turn out bad, if Hanna sees me like this. She might ask me millions of questions.
Someone knocked on the door making Jay stand up from the chess game him and Siva has been playing for the past hour while we were waiting for Hanna or any girl to arrive. I sat down on the floor in front of Siva so we can continue the game Jay just left behind.
“What about poker?”
He nodded and took out the cards from his pocket. Nathan tapped my shoulder and stood me up. Siva tossed the cards on the chess board and stood up. I was actually gonna see my sister again, she studied in a dancing school and I never saw her again. This might be the first time I will in three years. I was nineteen and now she’s twenty-one. Wow. It’s kind’a like Jay and Nathan.
“You asked a girl to come to our house but you don’t know her name”
“Her name’s Hanna”
I was already hoping it was my sister. Jay was a bit too excited for her. He opened the door revealing a beautiful brunette in a white Joie Dress, and simple Belle by Sigerson Morrison red flats. Wow, these clothes are expensive, but still simple.
Her smile was really back in the past. It was like the real Hanna Collins back then. Still, I was wondering how Paige and Caylah were doing back at the house. But was it true that my father didn’t leave a will?
“Ellie, what are you doing here?”
“Hanna, I live here”
