Lea’s POV

Since yesterday – I couldn’t get over to what Nathan said that it wasn’t Jessica he was talking to. When they arrive – I’m having a pep-talk with Tom or any of the boys. They knew more about him at his sixteen year old. He was hiding a secret from me. Someone knocked on the door flashing me back to reality. Tom walked in the lounge with the boys following him.

“Tom, we’re having a talk”

Tom followed me into the balcony and locked the door. I took a deep breath and looked back at him.

“What did you wanna talk about?”

“It’s about Nathan; did he ever have an ex before?”

He shook his head and then it turned into a nod.

“He did – I promised I wouldn’t tell you. Nate wanted to move on from losing you and I guess you did that with Logan. You wanted to move on, too, didn’t you?”

I nodded. Tears were forming on my eyes, they fell down my cheeks. He enveloped me in a hug letting me cry on his chest. Tom was like my real brother; even though I’m actually adopted, he treats me like a full sister.

“Forget about that heartbreaker – This is why I hate it when I say Logan’s name. Even Nathan has the same reaction when I say Cheryl’s name”

“Can we please stop talking about that unpleasant, no-human-hearted person?”

“Why not”

Nathan’s POV

Cheryl has been calling me since last night – there that’s the truth. She kept calling me saying that she wanted the two of us back together while she was the first one who broke up on me for another guy. And now that I’m with somebody else, she tells me she loves me. The door opened in my room showing Lea.

“Hey”

She gave me a smile before walking towards my bed and sitting down beside me.

“I was just gonna ask you if you wanna go to the beach. Stress seems to have been building up on you”

“Yeah”

Lea’s POV

Again – we both were being followed by paparazzi, he was answering their questions while I was focused on the song playing in my iPod. A couple of girls approached us and asked for Nathan’s autograph

“Hey Nate, I’m gonna meet you at the milkshake bar. Do you mind?”

He nodded and signed the girls’ phones and took a few shots. Okay, I asked the boys to actually give us some alone time so we could take out some pressure for a few moments but somehow fans just wouldn’t leave him for just fifteen minutes. I went inside the bar and sat down on one of the stools.

“Is this seat taken?”

The voice was familiar – Like I’ve actually known him before – even loved him. It’s a stupid thing to say, I know, but it was real. I lifted my head up and looked at who was asking the question.

“Lea”

The brown hair and chocolate brown eyes were the same things I see every time I go outside. He was wearing a leather jacket, sky-blue shirt and baggy jeans.

“Logan – Who are you with? What are you doing here in LA?”

He sat down beside me and put his arm down on the counter.

“Haven’t you been receiving my texts or phone calls? My God – I can’t believe it, your brother is already a heartthrob and you’re dating a celebrity. Do you know how bad that is? When they’ll be on tour, he’s gonna fall for one of the fans and he’s gonna leave you. Just leave him”

Nathan’s POV

I was walking down the pier finding the bar Lea went inside. Someone tapped on my shoulder – I turned around and saw a girl a year younger than me. She had straight blonde hair displayed in front of her. A dark shade of blue was colored on her eyes. Gold, dangling earrings were hanging on her ear. She was wearing a navy blue tank top with blue skinny jeans, black sandals and a blue high-waisted jacket.

“Cheryl”

“Hi Nathan, wow I really thought you weren’t gonna remember me anymore. Anyways, I came here to actually talk to you about your present girlfriend – Lea Parker was it. Tom’s sister – okay, here’s a warning for you. She’s a sister of an overprotective brother – if you break her heart, you’re dead. BTW – you’re dating an around-the-clock model. Especially when you’re on tour and she’s modeling. It can tear a relationship apart”

I shook my head and looked back down.

“You don’t know us”

She gave me an evil grin and took out her phone.

“Are you sure?”

A photo of me and Lea back in Bolton and when we were at the airport all the way here was making a slideshow on her screen. Has she been stalking us? She raised her eyebrow while giving me an evil grin.

“I’ve known the two of you since you started; since you lost Ellie and you found Lea. She’s not the same as Ellie or me, Nate – you need to wake yourself up and see that. If she’s the girl you think she is, she’ll love you more than you will say. But Lea’s different now; she says ‘I Love You’ but she has her fingers cross behind her. Don’t trust anyone Nathan – you’re really smart and you can’t even solve that”

“Just leave the two of us alone, alright?”

“I’m keeping you away from heartbreak Nathan. Stop thinking that I’m just trying to take you away from her, I’m helping you – if you don’t listen you’re gonna get what I’m telling you. I’m saving you from her”

Lea’s POV

“Lea, please – just leave him. He’s not helping you. He’ll fall for another girl in the crowd and he’ll leave you heartbroken. Don’t listen to what he says to you, okay. He’s a traitor. I’ve known you more than he does…”

“No you don’t. He was my best friend and you’re not gonna change that”

He stroked his hair and crashed his arm on the counter.

“Lea, he’s a heartbreaker. You can’t trust him. Nathan can fall for anyone, even Lilly or Carly. He isn’t gonna love you as much as I did. He’ll cheat on you someday and you don’t know when or where. You’re not even alerted”

I shook my head and looked down at the ground then back at him.

“You don’t know us”

“I don’t want to, Lea – I don’t want this relationship getting into a year! You think he loves you but he doesn’t. You let a heart breaker fill your heart vacancy”

He’s particularly talking awkwardly. Okay, this is how Logan and I actually broke up. I wasn’t really in love with him – Nathan was the only person I was in love to, you read that before right? So – I couldn’t keep a relationship with someone I don’t love. When I told him the thought he just remained quiet – after days he was begging in my school yard. And everyday he’s been doing that, it happened two years ago. Until I graduated he didn’t stop begging. Logan must’ve not understood what I said: ‘I’m not in love with you. And I don’t love you’.
