Lucy's POV

I woke up expecting to be cuddled up with the most handsome boy in the world, just as he said I would. But instead I woke up to an empty bed.

Calum must have left a little while ago to get ready for the day and didn't want to wake me up.

I sat up in my bed and stretched my arms out over my head before leaning back and relaxing myself against the bed frame.

Today's the day, I thought. Everything is changing today but most importantly, my dreams are coming true.

I grabbed my phone to check my notifications and to my surprise it was flooded with hundreds of them.

I scrolled through them frantically to find out why there was so many.

Then I found it.

An article had been published about me coming to Los Angeles today and hundreds of people decided to follow me on all platforms. I looked to see that I had also been tagged by the instagram account my movie made.

I also had received a text from my agent.

Janet: Just saw the article. Paparazzi will most likely be at the airport and they will try to get information out of you. Don't talk to them! Just cover your face and keep walking.

Lucy: Okay! Thank you for letting me know.

I looked through my messages and saw that I received a text from Calum as well.

Cal <3: Good morning beautiful. I went home so I could get ready to meet you at the airport. I'll see you soon. I love you.

I smiled at the text I had received from him. He went out of his way to let me know where he is so that I wouldn't get worried as to why I was waking up to an empty bed. I loved how he constantly felt like he needed to remind me how much he loved me.

I turned off my phone and walked over to my bathroom to get in the shower. I let all of my anxieties wash off of me and enjoyed the warmth of the water pouring down on me, relaxing my muscles that had gotten stiff throughout the night.

I got out and dried myself off, putting my wet hair into a braid.

I put on a pair of black leggings and paired that with a black hoodie, this way I would be able to hide from the paparazzi a bit better. I put on my comfortable sneakers so my feet wouldn't get sore on the 13 hour flight and walked over to my suitcase.

I didn't bother putting any makeup on because I would probably cry it all off anyways.

I grabbed my suitcase and put my backpack over my shoulder which now contained a pair of sunglasses.

I walked downstairs and saw my parents sitting at the kitchen table. On the table I saw breakfast already made for me. There was cut bananas, and a smoothie sitting on the table. My parents are the best.

"Good morning," I said to my parents.

"Good morning! Sleep well?" My mom asked me.

The truth is no, I was tossing and turning all night because of how scared I am but I wasn't going to tell my mother that.

"Yes I slept fine." I nodded with a smile and went to sit down at the table.

I finished up my breakfast quickly, not saying anything because of how anxious I am. My parents were talking about something that didn't need my input anyways.

Once I finished sipping up my smoothie, I put my plate and the cup in the sink, rinsed them and put them back in the cabinets.

"Are you ready to go?" My dad asked me.
