family/household headcanons

ezekiel is an only child, and lives on a farm. his parents are extremely strict and hes hardly let out of the house for anything. they have tutors, doctors, and all of the like instead visit because they dont want him going out. he doesnt like it very much but he doesnt know any other way of living. after total drama island, he fidnt return back home and instead camped at homeless shelters and shit. his family owns a cow that he was very close with before he left.

eva immigrated from europe with her father, mother, grandmother, and two younger brothers for a better way of living when she was very young. her older brothers got picked on a lot so she trained to be able to beat their bullies asses. her father is very affectionate and her mother is at work a lot of the time, and her family respects her and her boundaries a lot. she has a younger sister that she would protect with her life.

noah has a very loud and eccentric family, who is also quite religious. he has a lot of older brothers that pick 9n him but he learned to defend himself with wit and intelligence. his parents are very busy and that leaves a lot of his siblings to act up, thus all of the families expectations are forced on his shoulders. hes the one expected to go to college and provide for when everyone else gets older, as the parenting with the rest of his family was flawed and hes the last source left. since theres such an age gap between him and his older siblings, he believes that he was only born to be the future provider. he has a close bond with his grandmother who visits frequently, and even more her dog, who he adopted after she had passed. he stays cooped up in his room the majority of the time and isnt allowed out of the house often by his strict parents.

justin doesnt have a father figure in his life but his mother is very hopeful for his future and took the opportunity to put him into modeling when he was younger to rack up money. they started off poorm but eventually got to a stable financial point. justin doesnt see his mom very much and his freetime is usually taken up by photoshoots or diets or working out. when he had reached eighteen, justin moved away to make his own living instead as he was tired with his life at that point.

katie's family and sadie's family are extremely close, and their mothers are basically gossip machines together. the two of them, sadie and katie, are out of the house a lot at the mall or just exploring. they have a very close bond with their parents and are allowed to express themselves easily and with no stress. overall, one of the happier upbringings of total drama.

tyler is raised by his mother alongside his older brother, and occasionally visits his divorced dads house and plays on his dads hockey team. he works his hardest to fit the role of the man of his moms house, but he falls short a lot. he just wants the best for his family and tries his hardest to help when he can, though he is often pushed aside for his older brother and feels useless a lot. he keeps his head high, still, and is determined to prove to his household that he is capable of being a responsible and hardworking son.

cody is raised by his mother and father who are out of the house a /lot/, so he was basically fending for himself since a very young age. his parents pay off their absence with gifts of technology and videogames, so most of cody's at home life is sitting in his room alone playing games. he is on the wealthier side of things, as well. he stays optimistic about this, however, and often turns towards the teachers at his school as parental figures instead.

beth doesnt deserve any family headcanons.

courtney is raised by her single mother who strives for her daughter's success, and had avvery busy life. she was forced in a lot of extracurriculars very young, and didnt have much of a childhood. courtney wasnt fond of this at first but was soon molded to like it and set her own ambitions for herself. courtney is basically a mini version of her mom, although their opinions clash very often and there are a lot of fights.

harold is raised by the both of his parents who are, let's say, a lot more unique than your average parents. his mother works in film and his father works with studying bugs, so an odd upbringing was expected. his parents work to express the more creative side of harold and he is eager to accept. he was taught to be unique and just to pursue whatever made him happy. both his parents are very eccentric and optimistic people who just want the best for their son, and are happy to provide for any of his interests. harold gets bullied for having such odd parents a lot, but he couldnt mind a single bit. #wishiwasharold.

trent is raised by his two fathers, one an accountant and one a lawyer. they are very strict and the both of them want trent to follow in their footsteps, so there is a lot of clashing. trent, however, just wants to do what makes him happy, which causes a lot of conflict in the house. he doesnt stay at home often, and is usually out in the world or at the antique shop at the edge of town, where he relaxes with the old grandfather who works there. when he made the drama brothers, he was unfortunately kicked out and lived with the man he met at that shop instead.

bridgette is raised by her mother and her father. her father is working a lot, but her and her mother are very close and almost like best friends and they depend on eachother a lot, thus bridgette gaining a knack for being more wise and helpful when she was young. her mother and father argue a lot about how bridgette will be raised, and bridgette always finds herself doing loads of schoolwork to make up for her time she spends at the beach. eventually, there was a divorce and bridgette obviously decided to shelter with her mother. there, her talent for surfing was allowed to flourish and grow.
