Spencer's POV

"Alright team, we've been at this for over 24 hours. I want everyone to go home and rest for the night." Says Hotch. Spencer decides he's going to go to Y/n's apartment again.

"Hey pretty boy!" Yells Morgan. "Do you want to go grab some drinks?"

"No thanks, I'm pretty tired." Says Spencer. He leaves the building and heads to his car. The drive to her apartment is quiet, but he can't wait to see her. He's missed her so much and he can't wait to kiss her. He arrives at her building and opens the doors. He walks to apartment 306 and knocks on the door.

No response. So he knocks again, this time louder.

No response.

He decides to call y/n. He pulls out his phone and does that, but he hears her phone ring inside the apartment.

"Y/n, are you in there?" He yells. She doesn't answer. Spencer starts to worry. He steps back and looks at the door. He plants his foot and kicks it down, looking around for y/n. Nothing seems out of place. That's until he looks down to the right.

Her blue vase is broken with splatters of blood covering the glass.

Spencer's heart races. He walks over to the couch and notices a piece of paper on the the coffee table. He unfolds it quickly and gasps when he reads the message:

I've got my baby

Spencer takes the note and runs back to his car. He calls Hotch and drives back to the BAU.

"Hello?" Answers Hotch.

"Hotch, it's Spencer." He says in lightning speed. "Y/n is gone. The unsub took her."

"Woah Reid, slow down. Who's y/n?" Asks Hotch.

"My girlfriend. I went to her apartment and she was gone, but I found a note saying 'I've got my baby'. It's the unsub, Hotch."

"Ok, I'll text the team. We'll be there in 20 minutes."

Spencer hangs up and feels himself start to cry. This can't be happening again. He can't lose y/n, she's the only thing that keeps all of the darkness in his life out. She's the only light.

The team arrives at the BAU and rushes in. Spencer is at the board, looking over it intensely.

"Spence, are you ok?" Asks JJ.

"Yeah I'm fine- listen, I think I might know who the unsub is. Is Garcia here?" Says Spencer.

"Yes, I'm here." Says Garcia.

"I need you to go into your office and do research on y/n's family. Her last name is y/l/n. In my time knowing her, she talks about her mom and sister all the time but I've never heard about her dad. I think Prentiss's theory was right, I think baby is a nickname he used for her." Says Spencer.

"Ok, I'm on it." Says Garcia. She runs to her office as quickly as possible.

"Reid, Morgan, and Prentiss you three go back to    y/n's apartment and look for anything else out of place." Says Hotch. "Rossi, JJ, and I will stay here and go over the last victims. It's very likely that y/n's father will keep her alive."

Spencer knows the odds of her dying, but he can't help but worry. He tries to stop himself from crying again.

"Reid, we will find her and bring her back safe." Says Morgan. Spencer nods and walks out of the bullpen. His head is pounding and he can't think straight. If he loses y/n, he doesn't know if he'll be strong enough to get past it.
