Surprises

You watch tv and play checkers with Spencer for a little bit until it gets to about 6:00. He of course won every game, which made your competitive side livid.

"Can you at least let me win!" You yelled. He laughed and looked down at the board.

"Sorry, I may spoil you but when it comes to games it doesn't apply." He said. You looked at him with a determined smirk and you reset the board. You gave an angry remark after every game he won, until you decided you had enough and turned on Fresh Prince. He watched with you and you two cuddled under a soft gray blanket until he checks the time.

"What do you want for dinner?" He asks. "Anything you want, just name it."

"No, I want you to choose." You say. "I chose lunch so it's your turn."

He looks down at you and gives a subtle smile as he talks. "This is your surprise, not mine." He says.

"I know, but I want you to make the decision. Please?" You ask. You give him a submissive look and he scans your face.

"Ok fine. How does pizza sound?" He asks.

"It sounds perfect." You respond. You stand up from the couch. "You pick the toppings too."

Before he can make an argument you walk into your bedroom to get to the bathroom. Once you finish your business you walk back into the living room and see Spencer getting ready for something. He's putting on his black jacket with his converse, and he's holding a box of stuff in his arms.

"Where are you going?" You ask. You look in his hands and pockets for an imprint of car keys, but you don't see them. You notice them hanging next to the door as always which means he's not driving anywhere.

"I have to go get the surprise ready. It will only take fifteen minutes, and the pizza will be here in twenty." He says. He struggles to open he door so you walk over and help him. He smiles and gives you a kiss on the forehead.

"Thank you. I'll be back soon!" He says. You wave at him as he walks out of the door. Once he's around the corner you shut it and sit back on the couch. You turn on a new episode of Fresh Prince, knowing Spencer will be back before it's over. You aren't able to sit still knowing he has a surprise waiting for you.

About twenty minutes go by and Spencer comes through the door. He doesn't have the box of stuff anymore, but he is carrying a box of pizza. You jump up and rush to him. You grab the pizza from his hands and set it on the table. After opening the lid and taking in the tasty aroma, you walk back to Spencer and kiss him.

"You're so amazing. I love you." You say as you look into his perfect hazel eyes. He smiles and gives you another kiss, and then a hug.

"You're amazing beyond words." He says. You smile and separate from him.

"Now can I please see this surprise? I've waited all day and it's been killing me." You say. He smiles and puts his hands in his jacket pockets.

"Go get changed, we have to go outside." He says. "But not in front of people. We'll be alone."

You nod and rush into the bedroom. You quickly find a fitting blue shirt and tuck it into a pair of Spencer's gray sweatpants. You decide to wear your converse to match his and you emerge out of the room. When he sees your outfit, Spencer gives a wide smile and a laugh. He scans your body until he gets to your face.

"You look gorgeous." He says. You try not to blush as you look at the bottom half of your outfit.

"I decided on a more comfortable look. I hope you don't mind me stealing your style." You say.
