Two days before Hawaii
•••••Your last month has been great. After your lunch with the Rossi's, you talked to Spencer about your dream. He was happy that you told him and David was right- you felt a lot better. You went to their house again the week after, and you guys decided to have lunch every Wednesday. David has made a delicious dish every time accompanied with a sweet dessert made by Krystall. You feel a lot closer to them and David has become a little bit of a father figure. When you get back from Hawaii you're going to meet his real daughter, Joy. You're very excited.
You also went out with JJ, Penelope, and Emily again. Cecilia couldn't come because of work but her and Emily's relationship is official now. She's very excited and seems to like Emily more than she ever did Tristan. You've gotten closer with the ladies, and you can't wait until the next team dinner.
Right now it's 12:50 and you're packing for Hawaii. You and Spencer leave in two days and you can't wait. You're going bathing suit shopping with Cecilia and Penelope today at 1:00, which you're excited for too. You want to get a nice one to show off to Spencer and they offered to help out.
"Y/n, where is my copy of the Narrative of John Smith?" Asks Spencer from the other room. He's been a little stressed out about packing, but you're not sure why. He can usually handle stuff like this. He's been acting a little nervous the past few days.
"I think it's on the bookshelf, did you look there?" You say. He's silent but you hear his footsteps in the living room.
"Oh, I found it." He says. You smile and continue to fold some clothes. Once you're done you walk into the living room and grab Spencer's hand.
"Hey, are you ok? You've been really anxious lately." You ask. He looks down at you.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just want this trip to be perfect." He says.
"It will be, I promise. I picked out the perfect airbnb."
"I'm still not completely convinced that you should pay for all of it." He says. You smile and wrap your arms around him.
"Too bad, because I'm not letting you pay a cent." You say. You convinced him to let you pay for housing since he paid for both plane tickets and the activities. It took a long time for him to be persuaded into letting you, but eventually you told him there was no way you were letting him contribute in any way and he dropped it.
He wraps his arms around you and lays his head on yours. You smile and savor the hug for a little bit until you quickly separate yourself from him.
"Ok, Cecilia and Penelope are going to be here soon so I have to get ready." You say. You rush into your bedroom and rifle through your drawers. "Spencer, come help me pick something to wear!"
Spencer soon walks into the room and sits on the bed with a cup of coffee. He smiles at you as you take your pajamas off and grab an outfit.
"How do you feel about this one?" You ask. You hold up a maroon scoop neck with a pair of baggy dark blue jeans. Spencer looks at it carefully while he decides.
"You know I think you look gorgeous in anything, but you should wear something red. Or emerald green." He says.
"Why so specific?" You ask.
"I really like you in those colors." He says. "Specifically the emerald green."
You smile and pull out an emerald green v-neck and a pair of high waisted black jeans. You hold them up together to show to Spencer and he smiles.
"Yes. You should wear that." He says. You slip on the shirt and tuck it into the jeans. You smooth out any wrinkles and turn to Spencer. He stands up and grabs your waist.
