My eyes are closed while listening to the live band on the stage right now, it was relaxing from the very beginning that it suddenly caught my sense. The pulse of acoustic pop rock always gives me shivers even when I've learned to love every genre of the music. This one's always be my favorite to listen to—in sadness and happy hour—in any shape of the time.
"Wow, that's smooth..." I can hear my friends talking around me but my ears are focused on the voice at the beat of the moment.
"Palagi ko na 'yang nakikitang kumakanta rito! Minsan sa ibang gigs din sa Isla Verde! Maganda talaga boses niyan 'tsaka nasa banda rin!"
"Really? Ngayon ko lang siya nadatnan."
"That's a Quesada, what do you expect?"
My lips twitched a bit . Interesting family.
"Quesada? As in? Anak ba siya ni Emily at Jak Quesada?"
"So, kapatid ni Jacques?" si Riva.
"'Yan na naman ang die hard admirer ni Jacques!" Bowen teased. "Nabubuhay ka talaga kapag nababanggit, e!"
They laughed and threw more teases.
"Wala bang gig 'yon ngayon?"
"Wala, nasa New York pa. Miss na miss ni Riva, Dios ko!"
Riva groaned. "I'm just asking because I thought he had no brother!"
"Hindi naman sila magkapatid, kapatid ng Tatay ni Jacques 'yong Mom niya."
"Shit! Idol ko 'yong old songs no'n!"
"He's Chique's son? I thought he was younger! Sabi niya kasi noon sa last gig niya, may anak siya at iyon ang abangan soon!"
"He's young." Tawa ni Damon na kadarating lang sa aming lamesa. "He's just seventeen. Nakausap ko kanina 'yan and yeah, he's the one she mentioned on her last gig."
"Wow, really? Hala, he looks older than seventeen! I mean, I thought he was twenty or so! He's so tall! At paano nakakapag-gig sa bars ang menor?"
"Eighteen na raw siya next month, eh! Pinayagan ni Daisy!"
"Naku po! Si Daisy, basta sa matangkad, mapagbigay!"
"Plus, he's also good looking!" hagikgik ni Lorelei.
"Ang ganda ng boses. No wonder talaga! Ang ganda ng boses ng tiyuhin at nanay, eh! Grabe, nasa dugo na talaga nila, 'no?!"

I know that it's not a playing band. Sounds like he's doing the soothing business alone and he really makes it good to hear for everyone or maybe, it's already a nature since he's a Quesada from what I heard—he's basically a good vocalist.
