Ajax always has his way to entertain my boring life, there were times that he would just show up in front of my door with food in a Tupperware—sometimes, only a waiting paper bag for me to open with a note just like today.

He has a good penmanship; I hid my smirk and opened the paper bag to take out the Tupperware and see the food. The smell made my stomach growl since I haven't eaten yet, I licked my bottom lip and bit it.
It's a soup with veggies. I went back inside the room; it was cold so I had to heat it for a while before eating for breakfast.
I received a text from him while I was busy petting the black cat; Char. I cleared my throat in aversion, it was Ajax's lame idea like shortcut of charcoal. I think Coal was better, though.
Ajax:
Wala kaming gig ngayon. Ikaw?
I blinked twice, solving how he ended up sending me this message. Is he planning to pull me up to the rooftop again or another prank? But isn't that a habit?
Ako:

Ajax:
Nagtanong ako, anong reply 'yung so?
My forehead creased, I stopped petting Char and focused on my cellphone; weighing his reply. Char went to my feet and brushed herself against my skin like she always does, I typed my reply.
Ako:
Are you in a bad mood?
Ajax:
Wow, bothered kasi walang hahaha yung text ko?
Ako:
I'm not bothered. Shoo.
Ajax:
Don't worry, hindi ako galit bhie. Tanong lang talaga.
My brows knitted. This is hopeless, I can't really get his mood as usual. Minsan kasi nagseseryoso siya bigla pero maya-maya joke lang pala niya iyon kaya nahihirapan akong timbangin kung anong totoo niyang nararamdaman.
Ako:
Wala akong pake kung galit ka o hindi. Tanong lang din, assuming.
Ajax:
Grabe naman yung sagutan, pang master talaga!
Humabol pa siya ng isang text.
Ajax:
Ano nga kasi? Nagtatanong ako maayos e.
I let out a deep breath and winced but typed my reply anyway. There's something in him that keeps me up even when he's too annoying.
Ako:
I have no gig tonight.
Ajax:
Nice Lord. Hehe
Ako:
Bakit ba?
Ajax:
Pero wala ka namang gagawin? O pupuntahan?
Kumunot ang noo ko lalo.
Ako:
Wala.
Ajax:
Labas tayo pero hindi date, huwag mag-assume. Inunahan na kita baka umasa ka masyado sa simpleng labas. 😆
Uminit ng mukha ko. Parang ako pa iyong nahihiya sa sarili ko dahil sa text niya, it wasn't like it was on my mind but he made it seem like that!

Ajax:
