Allison's POV
I. Cannot. Believe! THIS!
Why does my mother decide that work is more important than buying me all the new things coming out! She's so selfish!
"ARMIN! MOM TOLD ME TO TELL YOU TO CLEAN YOUR MESS, IDIOT!"
I roll my eyes and head upstairs to my room. Unlocking my phone to tell my friends the terrible news. Now I'm gonna be the laughing stock of my friends until I can go shopping! Goodness, why is everyone around me so stupid! Can they not understand that I matter more than anyone else and I should always come first?
I look over at my bag that sits next to my door. I have a lot of homework to get done. Do I care though? No.
I heave out a sigh and decide to talk to my friends on FaceTime. I call three of my best friends: Cassie, Amy, and Grace.
Amy: Oh my goodness. I cannot believe that your parents are such idiots, Allison!
Allison: I know right! I'm so much more important than their work and they decide to treat me like trash over it. Ugh!
Cassie: I remember one time when I wasn't able to go to the mall I just threw a fit. My parents ended up giving in and took me to the store. Maybe you should try that.
Allison: As if! They don't deserve my tears.
Grace: Suit yourself then. You don't have to buy your stuff today. Just go tomorrow.
Allison: That's the plan, idiot. Of course I'm going tomorrow but I was promised today!
Grace: Whatever.
Amy: Anyways, have you guys seen Kyle lately. He's gotten super cute over summer break.
Cassie: Are you kidding me? You must be blind! Brendon looks so much better than Kyle.
Grace: You both are stupid for even thinking they look even decent compared to Thomas.
Allison: You guys are all idiots! How are you not talking about Levi!
Grace and Amy look at their screens in confusion while Cassie's eyes widen. I roll my eyes and look through my phone for a picture of him.
Allison: Here! He looks way better than those other guys.
All of their eyes go wide when I show the picture.
Allison: And he's all mine. Don't even think about breathing near him!
Cassie: That would be hard for me since we share a class!
She says as she sticks her tongue out.
Allison: Oh, you better not! Levi is mine! There's no if, ands, or buts about that.
Cassie: Fine, I didn't want him anyways. If I did, he'd be mine in a second.
Allison: Shut up, idiot.
After that I decide to hang up on them. Why do people think it's fun to play around like that. Cassie better learn her place and soon.
Soon, I hear the sound of the front door unlocking and I know it's my parents. I walk out my room and head downstairs.
"Hey sweetie." My dad says as he comes towards me and plants a kiss on my forehead. I don't say anything back because I'm still mad at them.
"I know that you're upset with us sweetheart, but I promise that tomorrow we can go shopping." My mother says as she pulls me into a hug.
I roll my eyes and hug her back.
"It's alright mom. But if you don't keep your promise again don't even try speaking to me." I say as I pull away from the hug.
"It won't happen again. Anyways, what do you want for dinner tonight?" My mother says while walking into the kitchen.
I think for a little before saying, "I don't know, maybe lasagna?"
"Alright sweetheart. Hm, it looks like your brother listened to me. Gosh, he can never do anything right around this house."
"He's so annoying. Why don't you guys just put him up for adoption? Our lives would be much easier."
"Sweetheart, you know how well known we are. If we do that, people will just look at us in a bad light and we don't need that happening because of that child."
"Fine, whatever you say mom. I'll be in my room."
"Alright honey."
After that I go right back upstairs and wait for dinner to be ready. Could this day get any worse? Even someone mentioning the existence of my brother makes my whole day go downhill.
I soon decide to watch some tv to pass the time. Lately, watching tv has been so boring for me! There's not much of anything that I like on any of the channels.
~~~~Time skip because I'm the boss around these parts~~~~
After a while of watching tv, my mother calls me down for dinner. I walk downstairs and head to the dining table, waiting for my plate to be served.
My father comes down the stairs after I was seated and asked, "Where's that little boy?"
"I don't know, he's probably in his room like always."
My father let's out a sigh and sits down. Soon, my mother comes out with dinner and starts to serve me and my father our food. She finishes with her plate and leaves Armin's empty.
We begin to eat in silence. Until, my mother decided to break it.
"Where is that child?" She says as she glared at my brother's usual seat at the dining table.
"In his room, where else? It's not like he has anywhere to be." I say with an eye roll.
"Well, he still needs to eat. Can you be a dear and make him come down here, Allison?"
"Alright." I reply before I stand up from my seat.
I head back upstairs and towards my brother's room. I open the door, not caring to knock at all, and look inside noticing that he is asleep. I begin to decide whether I want to wake him up or leave him. Soon, my answer became the latter.
I close the door and head right back downstairs to the dining table.
"He's asleep."
"Well, why didn't you wake him up?" My father asks with a raised eyebrow.
I look at my father, quickly finding a reason of why I didn't wake him up.
"I decided that since he made such a mess today that he doesn't deserve dinner. He can't do anything right around here, he shouldn't expect a cooked meal from nothing."
"I couldn't agree with you more. Hopefully, this will be an eye opener for him." My mother says, sending a smile in my direction.
"I thought so too."
After that we finish our dinner. Once my plate is empty I went to my to get ready for bed. Soon, I'm in bed and asleep.
