CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Sooah was packing her bags to go to the gym when her phone dinged. There were two messages, one from Chan and the other one from Jaehyun... and they both asked the same thing.

"What are you up to?"

She stared at her phone screen, contemplating on who to reply first, not even a big deal.

"The gym, why?" Sooah texted,

to Chan first.

She tied her hair before grabbing her bag, stuffing her phone inside then walking out of her house after saying goodbye to her family in the living room.

Sooah walked down the road listening to music from her airpods until she finally arrived at the gym.

"Soohun!" She greeted with a huge smile but suddenly recognized a familiar face in front of him.

"Chan?"

He waved at her. "Hey."

"You go here too?" She asked while approaching him.

Soohun whistled and smirked at the two of them. "Hmm, didn't Sooah hate you like last week?" He joked.

"Shh, don't say that." She scolded.

Sooah looked over at Chan who had a really cute smile on his face. "Do you want to grab some food after this?"

She nodded. "Sure, I'll probably be done in about an hour."

Chan nodded before walking away to lift some weights while Sooah continued talking to Soohun.

"What happened?" He asked while grabbing some boxing gloves for her.

"What?"

"You and Chan? Didn't you say you wanna punch his face like two days ago?"

Sooah looked at him weird. "The last time I saw you was like last month."

"Yeah yeah whatever, so? What happened."

"He apologized, that's about it." She shrugged.

"And you're completely fine with him already?"

"Not completely, but yeah I guess." Sooah replied.

Almost an hour passed and Chan was already done so he waited for Sooah and talked to Soohun while waiting.

"So you need some tips?" Soohun asked, crossing his arms.

"Yeah." Chan replied, wiping his sweat off with his towel.

"I don't know what to tell you just take her out on dates and be nice."

"I'm already nice." He shrugged.

"Sure. But you do like her right?" Soohun questioned.

Chan chuckled. "Of course, she's my soulmate."

"Hmm, okay." Soohun nodded.

Soon, Sooah also finished exercising and went to Chan and Soohun.

"Done?" Asked Chan.

Sooah nodded. "Did you wait long?"

He shook his head. "Nope, let's go."

"Okay, bye Soohun" she waved and walked out with Chan.

He opened his car door for Sooah and then got into the driver's seat. A few metres away from them, Jaehyun stopped his tracks as he watched the two. He painfully smiled at the two, staring down at the two bottles of milk he got for Sooah and himself.

"As long as you're happy." He said before turning around, walking back home.

"Pizza or steak?" Chan asked, glancing at Sooah.

"Umm..." she thought.
"Pizza sounds nice."

He nodded, turning his steering wheel.

"Thanks for wanting to go out with me, by the way." Chan smiled.
