CHAPTER ELEVEN
"So you like Sooah, someone who is not even your soulmate?"
"Taeyong, don't stress him out even more." Johnny laughed.
"No, I have only known her for like what? A week?"
"Yeah but that feeling will eventually grow then boom you'll be separated because you aren't soulmates."
"Separated?" Jaehyun furrowed his brows.
"I thought you just can't end up together or whatever.""You didn't know? When you fall for someone who isn't your soulmate, somehow, the universe won't let you meet anymore." Johnny explained.
"I'm screwed." Jaehyun buried his head in his hands.
"But you're still seeing her so, you haven't fallen for her yet and she hasn't fallen for you either."
"So? Do I have to stay away from her or-"
"Stupid." Taeyong and Johnny said in unison.
"Change your soulmate, obviously."
"No, I won't do that. I'll leave it up to Sooah."
...
"So, how's your day?" Chan questioned, looking at Sooah.
"I'm good, you?" She forced a smile, time to see how Chan actually is.
"That's nice. I'm good too." He replied, taking a sip from his iced americano.
Sooah smiled a bit, looking around the cafe they were currently in.
"Do you want to eat anything, Lina- I mean, Sooah?"
Her head instantly turned towards him as she heard him mention his ex-lover's name. She pretened she didn't hear anything and answered him.
"No, I ate before already."
He nodded at her, staying silent. Sooah felt her phone buzz inside her bag. She rummaged through her bag and took a phone out, opening a message from Jaehyun.
"How's your little date going?"
~ Jaehyun"It's not a date >:("
"But it's going okay I guess""Hahahaha okay. Where are you?"
~Jaehyun"Stay cafe"
"Why?""Oh..."
"Do you have time after your date?"
~Jaehyun"Yeah, I do"
"Okay, let me know if you're already done"
~Jaehyun"Got it!"
"Who are you talking to?" Chan asked, making Sooah put her phone away and look at him.
"Oh, just Jaehyun."
He nodded, irritated by his ex-friend's name.
A few hours passed. Chan and Sooah started getting to know each other better although Chan still accidentally slips his ex's name out and Sooah wished she was with Jaehyun.
"Bye Chan, thanks for today."
Chan smiled at Sooah. "You're welcome, see you."
She waved as he drove off and Sooah walked into her house.
"Oh yeah, Jaehyun." She whispered to herself and took her phone out to give him a text.
"Jae, I got home already"
"Okay, I'll be there soon, wait for me"
"Let's go eat some ice cream"
~JaehyunSooah smiled to herself and started getting ready, again, making sure to look even nicer.
