CHAPTER TWENTY ONE
"What the..." Jaehyun stared at his phone screen.
"After everything, I don't think so. But what do I say to her? Do I just like hell no go away? I'm not that mean"
He sat and thought to himself for awhile, thinking about something that isn't his own problem. Until he finally made the desicion to tell Chan.
"Hello?" Chan picked his phone up.
"Hey, Chan. I uhm..." Jaehyun stopped his sentence, thinking about what to say.
"Jaehyun?"
"Chan, Lina texted me some time ago but I didn't want to send it to you because I thought that would ruin you and Sooah's relationship and now she's back in Korea and wants to meet you." He quickly explained.
"Huh?" Chan tried to process everything, she was coming back into his life? He just made up with Sooah.
"Yeah. What do you want me to say to her?"
"Tell her I don't want to see her. Just tell her I found my soulmate."
After that, the phonecall ended.
"So, I have to deal with her myself now? I barely even know her" he sighed.
His phone got a notification, making him snap out if his thoughts.
"If you can't then that's fine, I'll try to meet him myself."
~ Lina
"I talked to Chan, he said he found his soulmate already."
~ Jaehyun
"Does he want to meet me?"
~ Lina
"No, I don't think so. Sorry."
~ Jaehyun
"Oh I see. Thanks Jaehyun"
~ Lina
"Why can't I just live in peace?" He huffed after turning his phone off.
"And why does it have to be you, someone who isn't my soulmate?" Jaehyun let out a sigh as he deleted the pictures of him and Sooah together.
"I'll forget you."
...
The next day, Sooah walked to school. While passing through the hallway, she saw Jaehyun in front of his classroom talking to his friends. When Jaehyun turned to look at Sooah, she raised her hand, about to wave but he quickly looked away.
She furrowed her brows. "He probably didn't see me."
"Sooah." Kyora greeted.
Sooah greeted her back and placed her bag down, taking out the homework she didn't do yet.
"Help me with this." She poked Kyora's shoulder.
"Of course you didn't do it."
"I rely on you for answers anyway." Sooah shrugged.
"SKZ! SKZ!" A few squeals were heard outside their classroom.
"It's so noisy, I'm trying to do my homework here." Sooah rolled her eyes.
"You mean copy of mine?" Kyora laughed.
"By the way. How's it going with Chan?"
"It's okay, he's a pretty nice guy."
"You just said you hated him like a few weeks ago."
"Yeah but- oh Jaehyun, hi" Sooah waved at the boy walking pass by but he ignored her and looked away.
"What's with you two?" Kyora asked.
Sooah shrugged and sighed. "I don't know."
