CHAPTER NINETEEN

"So where are you taking me?" Sooah asked once they left the restaurant.

"An amusement park." Chan replied with a cheeky smile.

"Really?" Her eyes lit up at the thought of ferris wheels and cotton candies.

He nodded and smiled. "Let's go before it closes." Chan held the car door open for Sooah who exitedly got in.

"Chan isn't too bad after all." She thought to herself.

Maybe it was too fast, but she needed to forget about Jaehyun as fast as she could anyway. Although it hurts.

Chan started the car and drove to the amusement park which was only around 10 minutes away. Sooah was excited the entire ride, trying to keep Jaehyun out of her mind. And it was working.

Once they arrived, Sooah jumped out of the car, running towards the entrance while Chan caught up behind her.

"Where should we go first?" He asked looking around.

"Ferris wheel."

"Not roller coaster?"

Sooah shook her head. "I'm scared of roller coasters."

Chan laughed. "Scaredy-cat"

She rolled his eyes jokingly before following him to line up for the ferris wheel.

"Why do you like ferris wheels so much?" Chan questioned when they finally got in.

Sooah shrugged, looking out the window as the ferris wheel starts to move slowly. "I just like the view from up here."

Chan nodded in understanding, keeping in mind to take Sooah on amusement park dates and the ferris wheel. He looked at Sooah to see her busy staring out.

"The stars are so pretty." She said with twinkling eyes.

"Not as pretty as you." Chan blurted out, cringing at his own over used pick-up line. But he could she Sooah blushing just a bit.

The ferris wheel reached the top and made Sooah even happier, she took her phone out to take pictures of the view.

"Let me take a picture of you." Chan said. Sooah handed him her phone and smiled.

When she went to take a look, most of the pictures were selfies of Chan, there were only 4 out ot 10 pictures that was pictures of her. The other 6 were selfies of Chan.

She glared at him playfully before going back to take some more pictures as the ferris wheel starts going down.

They got off and instantly went to get cotton candy before sitting down on a bench. They kept talking until both their cotton candies finished. Sooah got to know so much more about Chan and finally actually realized that Chan is actually a good person.
