CHAPTER SEVEN

"Why are you all alone?" A voice asked behind Sooah.

She turned around to meet Jaehyun standing a few feet away from her, also all alone.

"Just looking around, I think I've gathered enough findings already." Sooah replied, tidying up her notes in a folder.
"What about you?"

"Taeyong and Johnny left me and I got lost. Luckily, I found you." He shrugged with a shy smile.

Sooah's cheeks crimsoned.

"Wanna go explore other places? I found a room I wanted to go see again."

She nodded and followed Jaehyun who lead the way.

"I was only there for a little while  but I saw a picture of someone who looked exactly like you." He said.

Sooah stared at him weirdly. "What do you mean?"

"You'll see." Jaehyun replied, opening a small grey door.

"Ugh, it stinks in here." Sooah scrunched her nose up, blocking it with her hand.

"Yeah, I don't think anyone really took care of this room like the other rooms, looks like a storage room." Jaehyun replied, walking to an area where there were framed photographs.
"Here, take a look."

Sooah followed and held the dusty frame in her hands. "She looks exactly like me..."

"Told you."

Her fingers brushed the frame, unveiling the person next to her. A gasp left her lips.

"And the person next to her looks exactly like Chan."

She walked towards the window to find sunlight, her eyes landed on the bottom of the picture.

"B.C + L.S.A 8/9/2035"

"Soulmates?"

Jaehyun walked over. "Do you think that you two are their reincarnation?"

Sooah stayed silent, staring at the frame, endless thoughts and questions running through her mind.

"Let's leave this place."

Jaehyun agreed and walked out following Sooah. Right outside the room they were just in, students were crowding around. Jaehyun's close friend, Taeyong, noticed the two.

"What were you two doing in there?"

"Exploring, tons of things are piled in there." Jaehyun replied casually.

From the corner of Sooah's eyes, she could see Chan's intense glare at her and Jaehyun.

"Why are you guys crowding here?"

"Look." Taeyong showed a photograph to him.
"They are Stray Kids." He pointed at the photograph of eight boys.
"And they are SKZ." He pointed at the eight boys a few feet away from them.

"So, that means, they are the reincarnation?"

Taeyong nodded. "Correct, well we don't know 100%, but still."

Jaehyun turned to look at Sooah.

"So, you were right." She whispered at him.

"What was he so right about?" Chan questioned, suddenly in front of Sooah with his eyebrows raised.

"None of your business." Sooah mumbled, placing the frame behind her back.

"What's behind you?"

Sooah rolled her eyes and shoved the frame at him. "There, look. Happy now?"

Chan looked at the photograph, examining the photo and the words.

"We finally meet again after a hundred years."

Gasps were heard around them.

Sooah sighed. "Why you, out of anyone else, you?"

"S-Sooah..."

"I hate you, Bang Chan, I hate you!"
