Merry Christmas! I shall go out of bed and go downstairs and open all my presents-
Kate (Mom): "HEATHER! GET UP! YOU NEED TO GET READY FOR THE PARTY!"
OMG, I COMPLETELY FORGET! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!
Heather: "What time is it?"
Kate (Mom): "Eight o'clock!"
Heather: "Why I have to wake up this early in the morning to get ready? Isn't the party at seven or something?!"
Kate (Mom): "It's at four first of all! And second, you're going through make-up, finding the perfect dr-"
Heather: "First of all, I DON'T WANT ANY FREAKIN' MAKE-UP! I'm sorry, but I don't want to look like a clown! Second, I'm just a thirteen year old girl! I don't need two pounds of make-up on my face! Let me just use my natural look, a little bit of lip gloss and that's it!"
Kate (Mom): "At least half a pound of make-up?"
Heather: "Mom! It's just a party in our house! It's not in a big mansion or even a wedding, it's in our own freakin' house! What's all this make-up is suppose to accomplish?!"
Kate (Mom): "Fine, do whatever you want! Don't crawl up to me if people don't give you compliments!"
Heather: "I DON'T WANT TO BE NOTICED. I JUST WANT ALL THOSE PEOPLE TO GET OUT OF OUR HOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!"
I was so mad, that I slammed my door shut before my mom couldn't say anymore. It was so frustrating thinking that from all the things I could've done in Christmas, I wasted it on a stupid Christmas party surrounded from people I don't even enjoy!
-3:00 PM-
I decided to wear a simple baby blue dress with a silver bracelet. Emilia had to do my hair, even if I didn't want to, but my mom forced me to do something with my hair at least.
Emilia: "What hair are we looking at?"
Heather: "Something simple and it won't take to much time for you to do, since I really don't care for this party."
Emilia: "Braid then?"
Heather: "Maybe a mermaid tail braid? Oh no, I can't! My hair isn't as long as it used to be!"
Emilia: "You're right... Pigtails?"
Heather: "Hahaha, my mom will be so mad at you if you actually did that."
Emilia: "Hmmm... I know!"
She went through the drawers and pulled out a red hibiscus flower. She went back to me and started placing the flower onto my hair.
Emilia: "It may not be very Christmas related, but I guess it's better then wearing a ridiculous Santa Claus hat, right?"
Heather: "It is in a way, it's red."
Emilia: "You like it?"
Heather: "It's really nice! Do you mind if I wear this again in the summer?"
Emilia: "Not a problem at all! I could get a blue one if you want?"
Heather: "You would do that for me?"
Emilia: "Of course!"
I got out from the chair and hugged her. I love her so much.
Heather: "Thank you."
Emilia: "No problem. Now, go! You have a party to attend, milady."
Heather: "But, I don't want to attend it!"
