Chapter 6

Welcome to Chapter 6 - I have no idea what to say apart from enjoy!!

Mr Brunner POV

When he first walked into my class, I felt such a sense of deja vu from when I was teaching him at Yancy Academy, I looked down when I saw him walk into class.

"Mr Brunner?" I heard a familiar voice ask with confusion laced in his voice.

I decided to test to see how far his memory was gone so decided to not reply in English but in Ancient Greek, "Yes, how can I help you? I ask.

"I'm sorry I don't know what came over me then, you seem so familiar but I can't seem to place you." He states before going to sit down.

Just as I wheeled around the front of my desk to start the lesson the door opens again and I see Annabeth, Nico, Frank, Hazel, Will, Jason and Piper entering through the door. "Sorry we are late, we got delayed in the office." Annabeth states.

"Its no problem we are just about to get started, please take your seats." I stated nodding for them to take the empty seats next to Percy and Scott.

"Welcome to this new class, my name is Mr Brunner and I will be your teacher for this course. This course is for you all to learn about the Ancient Greeks and their language." I start noticing the confused faces around the room as I spoke.

I decided to test to see how far his memory went so started the lesson in Ancient Greek, I notice Percy looking around to his fellow class mates as confused looks appear on there faces.

"I am sorry sir but what did you just say?" A young lady asked with her hand raised in the air.

I chuckle before answering " Out of curiosity how many of you fully understood what I just said, if you understood what I said please raise your hand?"

I look around and notice the only ones to raise there hands were Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Frank, Hazel, Will, Jason and Piper.

"May I take your name please, as you seem to have already knew mine?" I ask Percy.

"Stiles Stilinski sir, I am sorry I am not sure how I know your name. Its my first day back since I had an accident that caused some memory issues." He explains, seeming a bit embarrassed to have to say it.

"Its no problem Mr Stilinski, it's my first day also." I explained which seemed to confuse him.

"What!" Percy shouts out as he seems to notice everyone was watching our exchange

"Well it appears Mr Stilinski you have a natural talent for the Ancient Greek language, as since you have stepped into this room that is the first English that you have spoken and this is the first I have spoken. Apart from when the young lady asked a question only Ancient Greek has been spoken up until this point." I explain as he seems to sink further into his seat.

"So lets start again shall we, welcome to this new class, my name is Mr Brunner and I will be your teacher for this course. This course is for you all to learn about the Ancient Greeks and their language." I started again.

As the bell rung I noticed Percy quickly grab his stuff and hurry out of the room with the rest of the class. I noticed that Scott Annabeth, Nico, Frank, Hazel, Will, Jason and Piper had all stayed behind and was now gathering around my desk.

"Okay, so am I right in thinking that this is a good sign that he remembers how to speak and read Ancient Greek?" Nico asks as they all stopped in front of me.

"It is certainly a promising sign that not all of him is lost to us. Scott, I understand that the other teachers and students have been told he had some form of accident which caused memory issues. Is that correct?" I ask him.

"Yeah we thought that was the easiest way to explain everything as he has some gaps in his memory. How did you know about this as I hadn't had a chance to tell you yet?" Scott enquired seeming to be in shock that his friend new Ancient Greek.

"He mentioned it when we were talking, now all of your job for the rest of the day is to watch him and see if this affects his memory returning at all." I explain as a knock is heard on the door.

"Sorry to interrupt but Scott I can't take anymore today. I am going to see my Dad, are you coming or staying here." Percy asks looking slightly pale.

"I'll come with you, you are not looking so well. Are you going to be okay finding your way to the next lesson." Scott advises directing the question in our direction.

"Oh yes, thank you for explaining everything. The map you have drawn us is most helpful." Hazel states waving a hand on a test on my desk to change it into a map of the school.

Percy looks confused as he and Scott leaves the room, I let out a sigh of relief.

"That was very quick thinking Hazel. You should all get to your next class, I will Iris Message Thalia to advise her that Percy and Scott are on the way." I advise.

After they left, I quickly messaged Thalia advising what happened today and warned her to be careful as I was unsure whether the mist would have fooled Percy and the fact he remembered Ancient Greek so be carefully what she says around him.

I pray to all Gods that this plan will work.
