Annabeth POV

As I watched the fight play out in front of me, I was surprised to see how much Percy had changed in such a sort amount of time and was shocked when he had stated he was a thousand years old but then proceeded to pull out a bow and arrow and use them expertly.

Once Tartarus bellowed and disappeared from view leaving Percy standing in the left over dust of Kronos nobody moved or breathed just watching and waiting on Percy to move or speak first.

He finally let his guard down and turned around to face us all for the first time, he looked so different from when he fell, his hair was messy as always but needed a trim, he definitely needed a shower but the more I looked at him the more I wonder whether he should keep it, he had new scars running on his face and once running on his next but the most shocking change were his eyes.

They no longer sparkled with life and power now only sadness and pain were held in them. I am broken out of my examination of him when he speaks, his voice still straining and cracking.

"Its so good to see you all again, I have missed you all so much." Percy states before his eyes roll into the back of his head and Scott races forward and catches him just before he hits the ground and scoops him into his arms.

He makes his way over to us and I can clearly see Percy for the first time since he had returned, he looked so much older which scared me to think about what he had been through.

We agreed it was best to take him to the Vet Clinic again as it was closet to where we were and we didn't want to risk the hospital not knowing what had happened to him.

Once we arrived Scott, Sheriff, Will and Apollo together gently tried to remove Percy's armour before I pointed out they could just pull the bead on his necklace and it would disappear. Once the armour was gone I noticed the newer scars around his neck that matched the new ones on his face, a few deeper ones on his arms which seemed the newest as a few still were bleeding.

"Apollo, you can tell ages. Is it true what he said? Is he really a thousand years old?" I ask breaking silence that had settled over the room since we arrived.

"I am afraid so if I am not mistaken he is one thousand and seventeen years old. But as to how this is possible I don't know, we know time works differently there but he was only gone for ten hours." Apollo explained while staring at me with a sorrowful look on his face.

"The part that got me apart from his age was how he stated they had killed him several times but yet here he is lying in front of me alive." Scott advises his voice shaking as he held back his tears staring at his brother.

"Only we can answer that question and any more you may have, if we may." A trio of voices state from the far corner of the room stepping into the light so we could see them.

"Haven't you hurt him enough, you have given him the worst life of anyone possible for no reason then for me breaking that stupid oath that should have never been created in the first place." Poseidon shouted at them his power swirling in his eyes.

"I am sorry but who are you three and what does Poseidon mean that you have hurt our son?" Sheriff asks stepping forward placing himself in between the trio and Poseidon.

"Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos, the Fates. They are said to cut the final string to end someone's life and between the three of them they control everyone's destiny." Lydia answered before they could which surprised me, maybe I had underestimated her.

"You are correct Lydia Martin, we are the Fates and we are here to help our Champion Mieczyslaw Perseus Stilinski Jackson." They say in unison which always sends chills down my spine.

"Wait what do you mean by Champion?" Nico asked before I could as I noticed the eye they shared was solely trained on Percy.

"We have been watching him ever since he was born and watched him grown into the fine hero he is and then again when he decided to become the boy who ran with wolves so he could over come his greatest enemy. We watched as he battled the inner demon and sacrificed himself to save all those he loved in both lives, we watched as he was dragged to the very depth of Tartarus where a single hour here is a 100 years there." They began to explain.

"We watched as he was tortured within an inch of his life but he never gave up or broke down. His first death occurred in the Battle Arena about thirty minutes since he left you all, his throat was slashed and he died quickly but we intervened before he could reach the Underworld and made him our Champion by making him immortal but it did more harm then good as once they realised he couldn't die they increased the torture and the Battles in the Arena. He has died a total of twenty five times, each time when he returned he seemed a bit more broken." They finished explaining as I felt tears running down my face.

"So are you trying to tell me not only is Stiles over a thousand years old, a demigod but is now immortal for the rest of time." Scott stuttered out with his own tears flowing down his face.

"He is no longer a demigod, is he?" I ask knowing that the only way for a demigod to become immortal is to become a God.

"No he is not, his official title is now Mieczyslaw Perseus Stilinski Jackson, God of Loyalty, Wolves, Minor God of the Sea and Champion of the fates." The Fates advise and it breaks my heart all over again knowing Percy had now become the one thing he never wanted to be.

"Why did you do this to him? He never wanted this ever, he gave this very thing up so he could grow old with me and now you have torn our future away from us." I scream at them attempting to lunge at them but I am held back by Jason and Nico.

"It was the only way he would survive to return to you all, we are sorry but this was and always has been his destiny." They advise before disappearing from sight leaving us all stunned with the information they have given.

The only sound that can be heard in the room is the heart monitor attached to Percy which currently was showing the only signs that he was still with us. I didn't know how to feel at the moment, I was grateful that they had saved him, angry he was made a God, scared at how he would act now, curious on whether he knew but mostly heartbroken that our future together had been ripped away from us again.

I looked over as Apollo checked on the bandages that had been applied to Percy's open wounds but what sparked my curiosity more was he was bleeding normal blood and not Ichor, which didn't make sense if he was a God.

"Why is he bleeding normal blood and not Ichor? He's a God right so he shouldn't be bleeding normally and his wounds shouldn't they heal quickly so why aren't they?" I ask voicing my confusion to the room.

Before anyone could answer me a gasp echoed around the room coming from the table where Percy was lying before the machine connected to him let out a continuous loud beep showing us all that his heart had stopped.
